Great video @Nischa, as a fellow KZbinr (doing History, so much less profitable than Business) Ive struggled with a low subscriber count for almost a year. When you had 2000 subs, what active measures did you take to grow your channel? Promotions, social media etc?

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZbin channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 722 subs and > 200 hours of watch time. Honestly Nischa, I was deeply disappointed after watching this video. Why? Because it took me a year to find your wonderful Channel! Super informative, super professional and your honesty and transparency are refreshing. Beautifully presented straight to camera. Genuinely surprised it took so long to reach the 4,000 Watched Hours (I'm at just under 3K with a 3-week old Channel). Thank you so much for sharing this video and Merry Christmas! 🎄

It helps a lot because I have also started my Personal Finance channel too, and still figuring out how I have to navigate to monetization, and gaining confidence to be on the camera like you. Thank you for being honest with your income from your finance channel, very few people are honest and straight about their channel income but make videos that claim they are making loads of money, yet it's just for views. Sveika Ieva, it really depends, there are many channels and accounts on youtube, instagram, tiktok... that started making some good money quickly. There is nothing stopping you from monetizing your channel by affiliate marketing on youtube from your very first video, youtube and instagram doesnt mind that. However tiktok wants you to have 1000 followers before you can monetize your channel by affiliate links

Not a YT content provider here, so take this with a grain of salt. However, I did see a couple of videos where the YTer made a killing unexpectedly with a seemingly mundane video. The key here, it seems, is to show a subject that everyone is curious about. Maybe a new angle towards an everyday problem, for example. And I don't mean clickbait - that might get views, but not subscriptions. Also, having great presentation skills, like Nischa, helps!

I was going to ask how you grew from 40k subscribers to your current 297k subscribers so quickly, but I see that you already have provided a video explaining how you gained 150k subscribers in just 3 months. And now an additional 100k subscribers. Your income from KZbin must have exploded also and should provide you the means to create more good content. I hope you have continued success and keep creating content to help others be financially successful. I am a much older person and when I was young, advice from many people was “money can’t buy you happiness”. And while that can be true, not having enough money and a secure future can buy lots of misery.

I loved this video, thank you so much for uploading! As a small KZbinr I have my days where it can be hard to put out content along with the busy 9-5 if I’m not being compensated for it. But like you said, my vision is also to impact others greatly and that holds so much value as well ❤ All the best on your continued growth here! 🎉
