NO BOOST OFF THE LINE? | Troubleshooting Code 4530

Absolutely outstanding! Replaced the vacuum lines and both actuators. Remedied code 4530 on my E70 35d. Thank you for your videos. Update! Code 4530 returned a day after I posted this comment. It ended up being the flexible intake charge pipe. Replacement cured the code, black smoke and high oil consumption.

is this same test for the front solenoid? check vacuum at hose on the right side and check vacuum at solenoid on the left side?

I really enjoy your videos and I followed all your steps but i still cannot find the low power issue on my 3.5d E70. I replaced all hoses and actuators and pressure sensors but still no boost under 3000rpm. The ista test shows vacum -15 psi in idle and -30 psi at 2500 rpm but positive 70psi at 4000rpm (differential pressure test) you think the turbo will s blown up ?

Is same thing with small turbo like you showed with big turbo? I have new pressure solenoid on small turbo but when is car running on left side off solenoid no pressure at all

I have a problem on my e46 m47 engine, it doesn't build pressure when solenoids are on. When connected to vacuum pump directly, turbo only starts building pressure above 3000rpm. I don't think it is vacuum problem, since wastegate actuator closes even on idling speed both with solenoid connected or not. Do you have any ideas, where to look next?

Hi Andrew, I made it to step two in this process. When I hooked up the right side hose off of the actuator to my vacuum pump and then start the car, I am getting ZERO vacuum. What would my next step be for troubleshooting this 4530 issue? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Ended up finding a hole in the vacuum tube supply that runs to the vacuum res. Spliced in some new vacuum line and my Code 4350 is fixed!!

My actuator moves all the way back when i turn engine on , releases after 1 min of turnjng engine off. Still no low down boost

Hi there i have a bmw x5 e70. Getting no power to start with the all of a sudden it kicks it I believe that it is the actuator in question in the video. Is this also known as a Pressure converter? do i look for leaks first before buying a new actuator thanks.

With 4530 error Is it the exact hose like in the video to replace when the car goes slow before 3k rpm and goes well like always after 3k rpms? Thank you

thats your small turbo not kicking in and only the large turbo boosting

I have a 2013 550i ...car drive fine until I floor it .. then it miss fires ...car does not go into boost... no code for boast Soliniod drive train malfunction multiple miss fire but only when flooring the gas pedal do I get those codes ..any insight?

check your turbo actuator it needs a clean. so it opens and close like its supposed to
