I was in a situationship with a girl for 3.5 months. She lived 2 hours away w no car, I drove to see her 8 times, had 8 wonderful dates, really good sex. I believe I came on too strongly, and it scared her into wanting to end it with me, she “wasn’t ready to give herself to me yet” I told her how much it pained me to say good bye because she was so special to me, but that i respect her choice and i would be open to if she reached out to me if i cross their mind. I know that we had a deep connection, we were like lovers when we were together. I’m wondering if she truly wants me to leave her alone, or if she just wants time to reflect. I want to do no contact but I know she will tell herself that I don’t truly care if I don’t at least follow up. It’s been a week and I’m dying inside, I’d rather ask her for closure so I can move on instead of thinking about her for months and months. I want her back so badly….

Hi there, I’ve been single now around 3 months from being in a long distance relationship. My question is when me ex broke up with me and said she wanted to break up. I agreed there had been some issues and things weren’t correct. I didn’t put up a fight and just thanked her for the honesty etc. I was initially thinking the break up was a good idea and I may have vocalised this to her. However, I now think strongly I want her back. I’m concerned no contact won’t work as I’ve not said about if she changes her mind she should come back, and that I agreed to the break up. Do you think no contact will still have the impact I want of getting her back? Many thanks
