I need to try it this way, we’ve been making our chicken and rice a little differently for many years! We put skin-on, bone in chicken on the top and those juices cook into the dish. Mom used a whole chicken, cut up. My family prefers dark meat, so we use thighs. It’s a family favorite, but I really like your method as well. Thanks!

This casserole looks delicious My mom used to make this but she used 3 cans of soup, mushroom, chicken and celery. She called it 3 soup chicken

I love recipes where everything goes into one dish and cooks together!😍 This makes it easy to get dinner ready without standing over the stove!😘 I think it would be good with the addition of broccoli to make it a full meal!😋 Or having a big salad on the side would keep this dinner simple!🥗 This recipe is a staple for a lot of us and baking it is a great way to prepare it!😚 I love the way you simplify our lives by giving us recipes like this Catherine!🤩 Thanks for sharing another great recipe!🥰

My mother-in-law gave me this recipe 40 years ago on a handwritten recipe index card. She included a little side note that said “great with pork chops too.” We found we like the pork chops better ❤ But either way, it is fabulous

A little trick for pop-top food cans (vegs, soups, etc). Take the top off with a safety cut can opener. That aggravating lip will be gone and you will be able to get all of the contents that you paid for out of the can.

This is a family favorite. I make this a couple of times a month. It’s a low budget meal, easy to make and it’s so delicious. The only thing I add to mine is a cup of frozen peas. Yummy 😋

I can’t wait to try this! Looks and sounds delicious! I have been having trouble with my taste for the last 2 or 3 years. in the hospital for over a week when I had pneumonia and a urinary infection and it went septic. Took a long time for me to get my strength back and I had no appetite. Still not eating a lot, but casseroles have been a blessing for me. Certain foods taste sour or bland.

Yummy ! First of all thank you for making an easy recipe that you actually show how the chicken cooks through I’ve seen many recipes and they won’t tell you how to get chicken Completely cooked.
