Although the only thing I’m frustrated about is the fact she was able to pull that spell out of nowhere without any training. But I do remember in the anime that spells could come out of nowhere in need of desperation which basically translates to an ass pull

@ThePreator 11 every time i think BC fanboys cant get any dumber y’all dig a new low. First of all lets start with that terrible analogy of Luffy and Sasuke. How can you classify a character as generic when they are one of the first ones to even start that trope? Its like saying Lum is generic when she literally started that tsundere trope and is the first tsundere to ever exist. Second, yes if the only way for you to show development in a character is by making them stronger then that is incredible bland and bad. The only time this is justified is when a characters entire purpose/backstory is nOt bEinG sTroNg eNoUgH which is so overused that its just boring and uh. Again with your analogies you named characters who fall into this “not being strong enough” category. Lemme give you examples of characters with real development… -Mob -Fushi -Vegeta(goes from ruthless killer to family man) - Decim -Mereum -Chise from The ancient Magus - Violet The list goes on and on and i aint even touching anything other than Shonen. Noelle has to be one of the most unoriginal, one dimensional, unrealistic, borderline one dimensional character i have ever seen. Nothing she does comes off as human. And i can elaborate on this even further too. Like the entire “her family treated her like shit since childhood but Nozel says something and boom she starts blushing and suddenly everything is cool btw them” 300+ chapters of family feud gone just like that, she literally forgot her own backstory lmao.

Most female characters in shonen jump are either irrelevant to the story or written to be weak and helpless or are outshined by the male characters. Literally almost all female characters from new gen shonens have been unique and interesting but most importantly realistic and human, from series like CSM, hells paradise, jjk, to stone ocean, Red hood, Ayashimon(with only 2 chapters out and already a dope female), to Sky x family, Dandadan, Choujin X, Sakamoto Days.

But hardly anyone will watch it, although it is brilliant and for me, a football fan, especially in childhood, it was an incredible pleasure to watch it, and when I grew up, I watched it again, it was just indescribable emotions, even Naruto and bleach could not give them to me (the hand of God is a classic). In general, this is a masterpiece, I like it even more than ippo, but if you look objectively, ippo is better, but it will be better for a special audience of inazuma.
