The changing colors in the Sierra are spectacular. So different from the typical PCT thru hike video.

Love it love love it. This may be my favorite of all your videos. It is a surreal landscape, as you say, "Like being on Mars". Push on!

Just a little FYI, those alpine ducks were American Coots. Always wondered where the went in the summer. Alot of them winter in Vancouver B.C.Canada.

Yeah buddy Mt. Whitney is no joke. Highest point of the lower 48. Be safe, screw speed allot of people die because they pushed too hard and then coming down get dazed and confused until it's too late and fall off. 👍

Really love the vids and music. Looking forward to the releases. Don't stop.. pwease :) The desert or is it dessert can have it's charms :P Would love to see Mt Baden Powell (haven't made it there yet)... sincerely - a lot slower hiker..

The desert is still warm in the fall. It can still be blistering hot! Seems a little demoralizing to only have the desert to look forward to after walking 2000 miles!

Nice work as usual. Roll on bro!

But with soundbound you don't get all the snow and sketchy passes that you're sure you'll die on. Where's the fun in that?

Cool videos! Thanks for all the effort you've clearly put into them. Am thinking about the PCT in a year or so once I've done a few more of the European ones, and will definitely be using your vids for inspiration. Subscribed!
@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
+Patrick Morris thanks for watching! Cool! The PCT is great. Which European Trails are you looking into?
@patrickmorris89347 жыл бұрын
Well, I've done a few longer and shorter ones. I did London to Asia a few years ago, which I guess would be about the length of PCT. 6000km or so. And lots of the GR (Grand Randonee) routes - GR20 and GR5 for example. Next is GR10 from Atlantic to Mediterranean along the pyrenees. You should look into them! Not as wild as PCT but so picturesque! And lots of nice little villages along the way to resupply with good cheese and wine. ;)
@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
+Patrick Morris awesome! I've recently been looking at a couple trails over on that side of the world but probably won't get to them for a year or two.

Another great video! Those high elevations its really barren up there and I agree with you, storms up there makes lightning super scary. Did you camp up there at all or were you able to get threw it and camp at lower elevations? Keep hiking and happy trails
@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
Larry3043 there were a few nights up high, but i made sure to pitch my tent in some bushes or keep hiking if there weren't any.

@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
Probably not the CDT, atleast not yet. I am looking into a few other things that interest me. But I wont say what just yet :D I will say that I started a bike tour after finishing the PCT and will be cycling for a month or two. Thanks for watching!

You could do the High Sierra Trail and summit Whitney at the end.
@mars_hikes9677 жыл бұрын
Why not the calendar triple crown next year? With snow the AT is way more interesting plus in 2018 you would be double triple crowner by doing just one trail.
@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
A calendar Triple sounds so horrible! hahaha! that's why almost nobody does it. that would be funny though. Maybe I will just buy a couch instead :D haha!

Been egerly awaiting a video from your PCT hike since you finished and this didn't dissapoint. What was your average trail pace or miles per day? You knocked this out extremely fast! As always, a great video!
@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
Matthew Quinn Thank you! I finished in 101 days with 5 days off. I havent figured out my average, but i think it's around 26mpd.

Are you using a stabilizer or stabilizing software ? The 'walking' footage is so much smoother than the typical footage in other (peoples) videos
@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
+tim mcallister the rx100 has internal stabilization which cuts back on most of the shake, but i always edit out the worst parts. 😄 I haven't used any stabilization software yet.

how do you carry everything in that 36L bag..do you have a second bag..ive the osprey exos 48 and it dosent seem to fit the same amount ha
@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
+Gary Hutchings it's all about packing efficiently. Stuff sacks are a thing of the past. They waste more space. Also there are little things like packing my tent loose with the poled upright inside my pack and the stakes separate. You just gotta play around with packing different ways.

what do they mean by "no fires over 10,000 Feet"? Does that include cook stove?
@NeemorsWorld7 жыл бұрын
+Richard Bucker it's for campfires. You aren't allowed to gather wood because it takes longer to grow up that high. The ground is also more fragile and won't heal from burn marks as quickly. I'm sure there are other reasons as well.
