I really like when you use the warm-up to run through the moves we will be doing in the workout. The 10 second rest/transition is hard for me when it's a complex move because it takes me a few reps before I figure it out. Getting to do a practice run in the warm-up helps my mind get on track with the program! This challenge was excellent as is all of your content. So thankful for you and the NML team. I set a goal last year to workout every day for a year, and I have surpassed that goal and I am on day 379 and counting!

Loved the series as I do better with 20-30m, and then if I have time I tack on a shorter workout with a different area of focus. Now what!? More of these please...MORE, MORE, MORE! Thank you!!!

Whoo hoo! I just completed this workout, I'm so much stronger now, even though I completed the work out with a pair of 2 lbs dumbells. I'm starting again tomorrow with the same 2 lbs dumbells to perfect my movements and after that round doing it again but with 5 lbs pair dumbells. Yes, a Strong 20 Part 2 would be Awesome!!! This is such an awesome workout. I am a fit 60 year old and LOVE your workouts because they prepare me to continue doing the things I love, like heavy duty gardening. Functional strength and standing abs will keep me going and stop me falling. Thank you.

I like when someone adds a clip in the corner of the next exercise. This helps you too. You won't have to explain the next workout and then gives us time to rest instead of having to pay attention. Lol might seem small but I think it helps ! Also, if we want to get a few more reps in we can watch the next exercise at the same time. Hope that makes sense.

I finished the 10 day today and feel great! I’ve been working out with you since the beginning of the summer and used 8, 10, and sometimes my 12lb dumbbells. As I finished today I used mainly 15lb and could have used 20’s!! I am a 61 year old Grammy who recently lost her job to “ageism” so these workouts are helping me to feel good about myself and that I am not too old to matter! I’ll keep saving $$ until I can afford to get 20 lb dumbbells and will continue to stay strong! Thank you for being so motivational and a good person!

Loved this program! I have 4 kids 5 and under so a hard twenty minutes during nap/quiet time is a perfect reset to whatever the morning held and daily self care. Thankful to Jesus for your work! You ladies are delightful!

6 months postpartum, and I completed your 30-day postpartum challenge, and now the Strong 20, and it has been great! I am planning on doing Strong 20 again with heavier weights, then moving on to the next program. Thanks for all your work, your love and thoughtfulness toward mothers, and your fun, challenging (yet doable) workouts!

Obviously because the dumbbells are adjustable kzbin.infoUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 they are a little bulky for certain movements. The handles are decent and fairly comfortable. We really love that they saved space in our small home and that is primarily why we got them. We've had them for more than 6 months now and haven't had any problems at all. I definitely would avoid dropping them however as I don't think they're built to handle that.

I just finished this workout. I was doing it every other day. So it took me 20 days total. I’m a mom of three littles and I love these short workouts. I feel like I can manage my week and not feel guilty for not being able to workout at all because I have “set aside an hour”. I love the fact that you have variety and I prefer these videos over actual programs you have to pay for. Im also a chronic asthmatic but it’s under control and I can feel the difference after these workouts. I’m not as out of breathe managing a home and homeschooling my children like I used to. I’ve been doing your workouts over the past four years on and off too. So thank you for making these videos. It’s changed my life. ❤

Today's quote from my fitness journal: "I'm working on myself, for myself, by myself" which I'll change to "I'm working on myself, for myself, with a little help from Lindsey and Rachel." I have been running a week behind the whole time since I was still traveling the first week of January, but I made it to the end! I'm planning to repeat the whole program starting on Monday. I started doing your challenges about 6 months ago. I started with 8 lbs, moved to 12 and now just upped to 15. I'm loving the progress and not getting bulky like you said , just strength and endurance. Thank you for these!!

I did it! I turned 40 in June and my 30s were all about tiny children and I didn't exercise hardly ever. I have a resolution to workout in my 40s. Lindsey, you mentioned that you have 3 kids 5 and under. at 35, I had 3 kids 4 and under, and girl it is HARD. That's why I didn't work out...lol. Now they are 5, 7, and 9 and it's a lot easier in some ways but we are even more busy, so a 20 minute work out that is this good makes me so happy. I can already see improvements from workout 1 to today!!! Thank you!

I turned 40 in May and I can relate. As much as I wanted to workout, I just didn’t have the time or energy. But I am loving myself despite my kids dad telling them me working out is me being selfish and worrying about myself. I know the truth. I know I need this. Just finished this 2 week program for the 4th time since January. It doesn’t get old or boring! And it works! I did this workout today with 20s and 24 lbs- I definitely couldn’t have done that in January! Thanks for keeping your workouts fresh and fun AND effective! Looking forward to Stronger 25!

I have done lots of your calendars and this is by far my favorite. As a working mom of 3 busy teens/preteens, this was exactly what I needed. I plan to definitely do it again and to come back to the workouts when I have limited time. I loved it.

I was skeptical about the 20 minute format being 'enough', but boy I've been proven wrong. Knowing it was 20 minutes made me work harder & at a faster pace, and challenged me to use heavier weights . I have been VERY sore the past few weeks and about to start at Day 1 again. Thank you!

Program completed, yey! I often have a difficult time staying consistent with a fitness routine but the energy rasiating from instructirs and the variability of these workouts plus a comaoct format was awesome! I had a dental surgical procedure half way through the program so it took me about 3.5 weeks to complete but so glad I sticked with it! Cant wait to repeat it or try other programs in your channel. Thank you! 🎉

I LOVED this program!! I'm 4.5 months postpartum and have struggled getting back into a fitness routine. I was able to take most of the push-ups from my toes and stick with 8lb dumbbells for most exercises! I feel stronger! Thanks so much for what you do 😁

Completed! Strong 20 was my first workout endeavor after my postpartum workout plan - such a great confidence booster to complete this! I feel strong and ready to tackle "non postpartum" exercises!

Just finished this program for the 3rd time since January! It’s a winner! I highly recommend it for post vacation- I love exercising but was having the hardest time finding motivation. 20 minutes was manageable and helped bring my motivation back!

I did it!! I loved it! By the end I can actually do ten pushups on my knees - I couldn’t do that before! I feel lighter and have more energy. I truly look forward to your workouts. I’m going to do this again with heavier weights!

Been working up to this 10 day strong program for four months - holy bananas - yes I did! Might be time to level up my weights and do it again! Thanks for helping me to get back into it all after a rough couple of years without access to my early life athlete self. It is so great to be back.

I just finished the program and will start again on Monday, but would love additional 20 minute functional strength training videos! As a working mom, I need to be able to get an effective workout in a short amount of time. This is the first time I've been able to stick to a program every day. Keep it coming!!

This is my 1st workout series I completed. I cried finishing. I was diagnosed with hidradenitis suppurativa and in April had to get my arm pits re done/cut out. It's a dream come true I'm all healed and strength training! I used 10 pounds. Hoping to bump up the weights 🎉

10 days complete!!! Thank you for this! It made my official come back into working out so much easier. 20 minutes a day are so manageable and my 8-month-old loves it too. I love the short and effective format. It is exactly what I need right now! If I can talk myself out of 30-40 min workouts, I can't do it for 20 min workouts. So they are easy to stick with! And easy to push harder to because they are only 20 min. To follow your words - you can do anything for 20 min

Just finished the program! Absolutely love it! I was with you doing the prenatal workouts for my 3rd pregnancy (I also have 3 under 5) and thanks to you my recovery was absolutely amazing, never felt better! I can’t wait to do the strong in 20 again with heavier weights this time!

Just finished the program and LOVED IT! I haven’t done much with dumbbells and was able to challenge myself and didn’t dread doing it. The pace was awesome and 20 min was easy to fit into my day. Thanks!!

My favorite! I'm covered in sweat!! My husband who consistently does orange theory classes and runs 4 times a week, did this class with me and loved it! He said it was so hard! :)

Round 2 Done! Went way up in weights!! Round 1 started 7 weeks Postpartum! Used 5’s, 8’s, 10’s. Ended Round 2 using 10’s, 15’s, 20’s, and the occasional 25!!!

This has been an excellent program. I just finished 2 weeks of it, and I feel much stronger, especially on the balanced unilateral moves. It is a blessing to have these workouts available for free. I enjoy the positive attitude and encouragement every morning.

You have transformed my life. I started out with your 30 days beginner plan in December with the lightest set of dumbbells I had and finished Strong 20 day 10 today using only 18 lb dumbbells. I feel so strong :) Thank you!

I just finished this program and it was a fresh change up from the split strong that I’ve done through more times than I can count! I’m going to do one more round of strong 20 and then go back to split strong. Split strong helped me kick my butt back into gear and drop 20 pounds I needed to lose and gone my body in ways I didn’t know I could! Thank you for these amazing workout plans!!

Dear Lindsey, I'm sorry in advance for a difficult/triggering comment. Two months ago I lost my baby during birth at 40w6s. Since then I've done this challenge twice already together with many other workouts from your channel. It has helped me a lot to keep my head above the water. Thank you for offering seriously good workouts for us moms, also for the ones without a baby.

10 days completed! I absolutely love your workouts. I recommend them to everyone looking for effective workouts to do from home with a set of weights. Thank you for sharing these. I have also completed 2 30 day challenges in the past. I would love to see a 30 day challenge with these 20 minute functional strength workouts. I work from home and they are perfect to compete during my 30 minute lunch break

Just completed two weeks of this program in prep for my xc mountain bike season and I loved it! A little behind but excited to finish. Got hit with influenza/pneumonia so have a lot of strength to regain after a month of no working out! Excited about the incremental progress of not getting so out of breath! Excited for stronger 25!

I loved this program and hope you do more! It was so nice to have a quick workout already planned for me each day. I am 54 and my 30-year-old daughter and I were both doing the program and loved comparing notes. My oldest daughter was a personal trainer and I used to train with her 3 times a week plus do workouts she planned for me. After 15 years, she decided to go a different direction professionally and stopped training. I was afraid I would go back to my old routine of doing nothing but then I found your channel and have been hooked! Thank you so much for your workouts and your motivation! Keep up the good work! Also, I love that you do videos while you are pregnant and recovering, I feel if you can do that! I can keep going too :)
