I’m 54 and I’ve been reading lately about the importance of having a higher BMR as we age; I also read that working fast twitch muscle groups through HIIT and Tabata several times a week can help achieve that. Thank you Lindsay for another awesome tabata! Tabata is my favorite form of HIIT, short and sweet but total fire! I love all your tabata routines and this one gets an A+ too! 8 rounds of jump lunges are incredibly hard! I once heard to never be discouraged when you have to stop and take a short break/rest, that just means you were working that hard! And I love it when you have to take breaks like the rest of us 🤣 have a great day!

Lindsay you show no mercy, LOL. This was BRUTAL--one of the toughest I've done in a while. I've looked at lots of channels and nobody does a TRUE tabata. Most just do a series of different exercises for 20 seconds. I think true tabata is much, much harder. Thanks for a great workout!

I just had a baby 4 months ago via C after almost delivering naturally so needless to say I was really beat up after having my daughter. I felt lost trying to get back into my fitness routine. It’s so important for my self esteem but also teaching my daughter to appreciate her body and what it can do for her. So I just wanted to say thank you for posting these videos. I do one every morning Monday-Friday and actually involve my daughter which she loves and I love because it tires her out for a nice nap afterwards.

I would just like to suggest also, one can alternate between your level and Rachel's level until you build up to all your level. This way one can finish the workout and not feel defeated and quit. Love this one tho! Thanks for sharing!

Could you consider doing a FUNCTIONAL WORKOUT, including all different types of “everyday”exercises?( Unilateral, twisting, rotating, bending…)I really love the idea and this style of training and it’s so beneficial! Already most of your workouts, especially the cardio and abs one, are functional and amazing. It would be really fun and interesting, as well as athletic 🤩🙏🏼

That helps so much with my decision if this workout is for me and my 59 year old body. 3 years ago,I had a vertebrae fusion c6 c7, shoulder and wrist surgery as a result of a car accident. I have to be carefulwith my neck, could you show some alternative for neck issues? I am not afraid of exercise!!! I love your work outs, it is different from my normal. Love to change it up. holy. bananas. i've never done a tabata with this format that its the same move for 8 rounds of 20 seconds and i thought i would get bored, but it flew by, i was shocked when it was time to cool down. the squats and split jumps were killing my hip flexors so idk if i was compensating or not. i loved the last move though, took me back to my volleyball days.

This was a tough workout but it went by so fast. Was it 9 or 8 rounds of split jumps?? My legs felt like 9. It is easy to lose count. Thanks Lindsey and Rachel!!

Haha!! Rachel popping in here -- I realized this as I was editing the video! I counted wrong + added an extra round to that circuit!! Way to crush it anyways, I know you guys love a bonus round! 😉
