@kingbeef66
@kingbeef66 Жыл бұрын
It’s either because as an alien he can’t truly uncross his eyes, or the more times his head gets shoot and regenerates, it becomes more and more deformed. That would explain why he looks even more deformed with his big nose in Men In Black 2.
@SebastianJVW
@SebastianJVW Жыл бұрын
Well imagine you're someone that knows this guy. His crossed eyes are really prominent, if he went from cross-eyed to normal you'd definitely notice. It'd raise a lot of questions: How did they get fixed? Surgery? How would a pawn shop owner in a crappy neighbourhood like that afford that? And even if he could afford it, if you'd just seen him the day before, how did it heal that quickly? If the wrong person came to the wrong conclusion, it could lead to scrutiny from the cops or the IRS, which could lead pretty quickly to him needing to get a new identity. Plus something really obviously weird, like being cross-eyed, can be useful in a disguise. Strange behaviour is more expected when you look strange. Plus, spies will often include one very eye-catching detail in their disguises (eg, weird facial hair, an odd piece of clothing, fake facial tattoos, etc), so that that becomes the only thing that sticks out in people's memories, making it harder to remember the rest of their appearance. If he ever needs to go on the run, all he has to do is uncross his eyes and change his clothes, and nobody would recognise him.

It's because 90s CGI was very thought out by the animators. Every sweat of effort went into making computer graphics as close to perfection as possible, unlike today where CG became as shallow as 1 cent (even though the technology got better).

"this one's eating my popcorn". This is such a classy call-back. This references the 1973 Oscars winner for best film, "The Sting". The joke goes like this: "Guy with a duck can't bring the pet into the theatre, slips the duck down his pants and smuggles it in. Inside, he opens his fly and the duck stick his head out to watch the show. The couple in the next seats over notices, one says to the other... "You see what I see?!" "Yeah, so what, you seen one, you've seen 'em all." "Yeah, but this one's eating my popcorn!"
