Hey Nozi😊 been watching your videos since day one! You truly inspire me⚘ Can I ask... I just started with prep and it really doesn't treat me so well. I vomit and feel nauseous the morning after I had it. What do you think I should do?
@NozibeleQamngana4 жыл бұрын
Hi B - remember this, PreP like any other drug. When a drug is foreign in your body, your system would try to fight it out because its not used to it. I felt the same way when I started my ARVs. I would feel dizzy and nauseous. But my doctor had already prepared me. You should give it another week or so. But if it persists, please speak to your doctor :)

Hi Nozie, I truly like your energy and confidence to come up and assist others please continue doing the great thing 😘. I just wanna know that how is your understanding between alcohol and ARVs since you mentioned it from the begging of your video. Like does liquor disturb the functioning of the above metioned drugs within the body or what? Thank you in advance for answering ❤❤
@NozibeleQamngana4 жыл бұрын
Hi Tobekile, In general, one or two drink is likely to be fine, if this is something you enjoy. There are no interactions between alcohol and ARVs. More heavy drinking however can lead to missing doses of your ARVs. Alcohol, taken excessively, can also make efavirenz side effects worse, in particular feeling dizzy. So, it all depends on how often do you drink and in what moderation.
@tobekilemdumata89104 жыл бұрын
Thanks dear, I'm gathering this information so that I can also assist when necessary.
