NW Fishing Secrets I agree with @Bee Chan. I have some favorites that do c-a-c’s all the time but since I’ve subbed a few days ago your catches and your cooks are way better. Can’t wait to say I was here at 30k when you’re at 1M. I moved to Texas from Los Angeles and I miss west coast fishing. I miss trout and stripers. But the bass fishing and the saltwater in the gulf produce some great fishing as well. But no one cares to pick up their trash because it looks like your fishing some man made structure no matter where you’re at least in the Houston area. But I’ll be putting some pretty entertaining fishing vids up soon. Thanks for the inspiration and effort into your vids. Bless up.

I miss catching cutthroat. Fishing for cutthroat with my dad are my best fishing memories I have. For some reason, the lake we used to catch them in is void of cutthroat. Now there's just planted, lazy triploids that won't hit a lure. I still have the memory of the epic summer evenings we had. We would fish all day for bass, play around with perch and bluegill until the last 1 to 2 hours of daylight as the sun was setting. As soon as the sun set, it was on! The lake would completely glass out, and the cutthroat would start rising to gorge on the mayfly hatch. You couldn't cast fast enough to the endless rings surrounding the boat. There was never a question of "IF" we would catch something, it was "how many" would we get tonight! It was epic! We still talk about it every summer, when we stay out late on the same lake, and the perfect conditions fall into place as they once did. Our hearts still swell with the hope of seeing those rings of rising trout again, just for one for chance relive that experience we still remember like it was yesterday. Sadly, we are always let down as if it was for the first time. I would give up A LOT in my life to have that experience again with my dad. Now we make new memories catching large mouth bass together and chasing the dream of boating a double digit hog.

Morels in back yard? DAMN! Used to live in southern VT. Memorial Day was usually when wild Morels came out. But you had to know where to look.
