I've just discovered this video tonight (20/07/17) and I've seen it fifteen times already. It's that good! I'll certainly enjoy watching this sketch again, I can tell you!

Another great sketch by the genius two Ronnie's,I tried to watch another couple of sketches but these were blocked, typical BBC throwing a wobbly. If I had my way like I suspect millions of others I'd shove their licence fee up their fucking arses, Like they don't rob us enough as it is showing crap TV programs without the choice to opt out. Sorry for moaning but if they had decent comedy like this I wouldn't mind. Mr barker,Mr Corbett, you were and still are the greatest.

I can't speak for Rochdale specifically, but 'reet' can definitely be heard in Lancashire. A lot of words and phrases that people think are uniquely Yorkshire or uniquely Lancashire are in fact common to both.

I always enjoyed Morecambe and Wise, but the Two Ronnies on BBC2 were much cleverer, I always thought as a kid. I was never a fan of the armchair monologue but put up with it because the big musical number always followed ...and those were always witty, clever, nicely pergormed and hugely funny. Used to watch them with my dad. Great times.

They pre-recorded the music professionally in a sound studio. Then when they came to perform it in front of live audience, they muted the performers instruments who then mimed to the backing tape. Often the only "live" sound was the two Ronnies singing the song.
