I was in the OCD loop and the impact it had on me was destructive and destabilizing. For ex, it interfered with my studies and i failed my exam. i was addicted to the fantasy in my head. It was a form of me getting my needs meant unconsciously. I believe rumination stems from having OCD or comorbidities in mental health and you have an extreme void in you at a unconscious level. The void created a desire to reach outside myself to try to get needs meant from others. Trying to get our needs meant outside ourselves does not work. It only creates an unpredictable toxic cycle. The result of this is the moment someone comes along and makes you feel seen, heard, valued, and Wanted. When someone meets all those needs you get addicted to them and here comes the Limerence.

This was extremely helpful.. Thanks! I’ve had three female LO’s and each experience made me question my sexuality.. I was so ashamed at first but these videos, coupled with me learning more about attraction, helps a lot !

Hi David, Great videos - thank you. A few comments; 1. The volume on some of your videos is too low, lower than other videos - meaning that sometimes they are too quiet to listen to whilst carrying out another task. 2. The thumbnails - your face / head is what I want to see. There are lots of videos about limerence online, yours are the best. The make them easier to find - it would help for them to be easy to identify. Your face would be the easiest way to do this. 3. Spotify etc ; could you upload these videos as podcasts - it is great to be able to listen to them on the go and a KZbin video uses more data / battery whilst on the go. Thanks again for the fantastic videos. All the best, Ben
