I'm not exactly scraping a barrel here, but the games are of a very varied quality. xD I suppose it's best that you see for yourself.

Wow, thanks! I like to make those, so if they're something that you and others enjoy, it makes it even more worth the effort! :) Also, what's the story behind the nickname? Did it originate from piracy or doge cryptocurrency?

Astral looks pretty good indeed. I'll look into an Amiga emulator. So many pun names for games today. Aunt Arctic, Australo Piticus? :D The one called Awesome takes the cake though. That is truly ambitious. As a side note, with my tired eyes the big blue zombies in Beast Busters look like they're just giving the player a big thumbs up. Such friendly guys!

It's good to see Astral for the first time. Awesome is underrated, very impressive for 1990. I especially liked the overhead view sections. Beast Busters provides more SNK goodness. Graphics could be a bit better, but overall it's solid.

I loved Aunt Arctic Adventure as a kid. The sound and graphics aren't as good as I remembered them being, but it's still a fun game.

Wow! Astral Looks great, & I mean both figuratively & literally but I’d moved on from the Amiga by ‘96. Shame really but luckily there are modern options to play it now. Atlantyda is interesting & you know I love seeing games from other parts of the world that we didn’t get here & that’s 2 in a row. Even if it’s not a great game it’s still interesting. Was Aunt Arctic Adventure built around the pun in its name? It wouldn’t be the only game created for just that reason. That being said I’d argue it looks nice & clean for an early game. Australo Piticus Mechanicus is obscure for a reason… let’s leave it at that. 😄 Awesome does indeed live up to its name & actually does a good job of looking kind of 3D, even though it’s just using image scaling, in some sections. It does enough differently to other games to say it should be better known than it is. Albedo is new to me & doesn’t look great but I’ll take your word on the game play? Baal looks like someone did an OK job of remastering an 8Bit game because they did but honestly looks kind of fun to me? Speaking of warmed over 8Bit games, Banzai. Could Beast Busters be played with the elusive Amiga light gun? Because that would be awesome! Oof! Battle Bound looks rough. & sounds, from what you’ve said like it’s not worth overlooking that? The old Amiga could do better! Fun list as always. There are a couple of titles here I know & a couple of titles from exotic foreign lands but you’ve also managed to find some very obscure titles too! Great video, thanks.

Yeah, I think that 1996 was a year when I moved to PC too. And started going through a whole library of earlier PC games from then. I had those compilation CDs with oldies, which by then were not oldies, but just DOS games, and I was testing them out. It was a great fun, and I felt like a treasure hunter, like Indiana Jones, going through these, looking for and finding (gaming) treasures. While neither Astral nor Atlantyda would ever win any rewards, they were both complete games, playable from beginning to an end, which is more than can be said about many of these very late Polish games on Ami. What Awesome does with the scaling is actually pretty impressive. You gotta remember that unlike Sega Genesis, Ami had no hardware scaling, and it was all done in real time. Baal is not bad. It's just an 8bit game, rehashed for 16bit machines. It's kinda like Skyrim, that's remade every single time a new generation of consoles comes out. Ha! I see what you did there with Banzai! I do! ;) Don't know if Beast Busters could be played with Amiga's Light Gun. I know for a fact that you could play it with a mouse, and didn't have to use the joystick, so that's something at least. Battle Bound looks like it could be a great game. But somewhere along the development, when all the graphics were done, devs forgot it was meant to be one. ;)
