Those ladders are insane! My quads are burning just watching!!! Great stuff!

They were a lot of fun honestly! But there were so many in this section haha

Pika sounded a little disappointed that you made it across the bog crossing without an incident.

LOL maybe she was looking for a little entertainment 😜

Beautiful trail but the number of campers at the end on the beach! Yikes! Happy Isles North. I'm loving those ladders and that suspension bridge looked epic. I had a sleeper wave experience that taught me to never turn my back on the ocean below the highest storm tide marks. You were camped in a proper spot there. Thanks for taking us along!

@@Peter_S_ Oh this was NOTHING compared to Happy Isles haha! Still scarred from that experience. 😂 This camp spot just gets the busiest because pretty much every person going either direction stays there. The trail really wasn’t busy at all though, I was surprised. Haha I wanted to stay on the beach but I was definitely paying attention to the tide marks! Pika is not a very good sleeper though so we opted for the forest. Thanks for following along! 😁

@@AudreyAdventures LOL, when I think of Happy Isles the next picture in my head is usually of LAX at rush hour, but that is the most tents I've ever seen on a Canadian beach.

Another cool video. Looks amazing. Stupid question. Is there a privy at the beach camps? Happy trails.🤟🏻🥾🏔
@AudreyAdventures4 ай бұрын
There are no stupid questions here! 😜 Yes, each campsite had privies. For the beach ones, they'd usually be just off the beach in the forest, and they were all built so you had to climb a ladder to get to them.

All the ladders and mud could be a bit much, but definitely an incredible trail. Could you even imagine trying to hike that without all the trail improvement? Did you have to skip the boulder field due to high tide?
@AudreyAdventures4 ай бұрын
@@kennethschaidle5995 I was getting annoyed at the ladders by the end but honestly they really weren’t bad - they kept things interesting haha. It was fun to always be doing different things - forest and beach, ladders, cable cars, climbing over logs, etc. I definitely never got bored! And yeah unfortunately there was only a small window where the tides would have worked out to hit the boulder beach and we just weren’t positioned to do it so we missed out on that. I bet the mud would be cray cray without all the boardwalks and whatnot! Praise the trail maintainers!

Do you pass a lot of people on the trail? I can understand why you're not filming them, just seems like the trail is very empty but the camps are packed. Awesome footage, enjoying the journey!

No not really. I was surprised how empty it seemed, especially because I had heard it tends to be a busy trail. We probably saw between 10 to 20 people per day on the trail but they tended to be in groups so it really wasn’t disruptive at all. We definitely saw way more people at camp.
