Bargain used PC parts await thee who wants to hunt them, and thus this month we are at it again on Gumtree with a different kind of bogan - the tough bogan, and the results are interesting... Someone also calls me out on gumtree which is.... interesting and I took a quick visit to the EB Games Expo, which was fun and didn't stop me from picking up a bargain.

In my country gtx 1050ti is 150$, gtx1060 is 300$, gtx1070 is 500$, gtx1080 is from 700$ to 1200$ ,gtx1080ti is 1500$....... Most of the highest priced cars are on Amazon and even if you are lucky enough to get a good gtx1080 like me you have to 200$ for the fucking tax!!!! Farming Simulator!! That simulator is one of my favorites. A couple months after that game was released, I upgraded my GPU from an R7 250 to an RX480 and that was the only game that I didn't notice any differences in, being so easy to run on practically everything.

+wee siang Compared to some systems it is, but definitely not compared to a single GTX 970. Those RX 480/580 are pretty good, and I would take that over the 970 any day (unless you really need Cuda acceleration, but in that case, you will probably pick some other Nvidia card). Clearly that person either had no idea, or was way overdoing the sales pitch.

Jake Garrett i already got 1060 6gb and its already more than enough for 1080p @60fps. I just fed up with people calling 1060 is a rubbish and said 480/580 is better but it real gaming experience 580/480/1060 is just almost the same performances.

Those X5670s are super awesome 1366 Xeons. My dad brought home an old precision T3500 from work, so i upgraded it to an X5670, 16gb ddr3, and an RX 570, bam. 60FPS 1080p gaming/ productivity BEAST!

DUDE!!! I got FS17 about a week ago and i already have 90hrs in it. The game is addicting as all hell and so much fun, especially with friends. My Vega 64 barely breaks a sweat playing it, stays at 32°C on water even with it being 25°C in my room (still warm in Southern France).

Here in the US we had EB Games also for a while. Matter of fact we had a Game Stop first then EB Games opened up two stores down in the same strip mall. Once Game Stop bought out EB Games you'd think they'd shut down the store where I lived considering where it was. Nope. So for about two years we has TWO GAME STOPS literally right next to each other. Standing outside look at them it was a weird sight.

jordan lewis ditto m8, I've got a pair of X5660s that behave like gold bin chips, they both run ice cool with HP's cheap 65w cooler, the power draw is so low I can max them both out and stay under 600w. These puppies are begging for a SR-2 to treat em' right, but the ebay price for the single board available gave me blue balls like you wouldn't believe.

Jarrod'sTech - lel nope, we know ryzen is the winner because it has no micro stutter and it is smooth throughout whole game play, i had a xeon x5460 gtx 1050 ti and it stuttered soooo much that i sold it for £400 (made it for £240) anyways, know i have a ryzen 1600 3.8ghz gtx 980 ti, its all siting in a very closed and compact case but temps r fine. my friend has a i5 6600k gtx 1070, and i notice how it shows 60 fps in somegames but it ceryainly looks little choppy and unstable, although intel has higher fps than ryzen, ryzen will actually deliver a smoother stutter free exp. despite the 10-20 fps difference is some games. i know the comment u wrote is a joke, but i got into the heat of the moment serry matey!

Still having my Gigabyte P55A-UD3 motherboard with I7-870@4,0GHz 1,25V. Max overclock with this is 4,18GHz@1,35V. Paired with Asus strix GTX970 oc, I'm having good time gaming at 1080p60Hz. Those Xeons are also good value with these lga1156 mobos because you can overclock every CPU with fsb with these mobos. Thanks again for great video, loving these. Cheers from Finland.

That "well I bought it for $470 a long time ago" kind of attitude is massive in the US (probably everywhere, but our Craigslist, sort of like Gumtree, its hilarious seeing some rip offs). Like, sure I have a GPU from 2007 that cost $2,799 (not counting the massive inflation since then, and how wages have skyrocketed), but it would be a rippoff at $50 unless your either a collector, or want a cool looking hand drier (Furmark, it works great for that, not even joking, had my desktop near the sink for a while...). Value wise, its probably closer to $10-$15 (but the scrap metal price of its full copper heatsink is close to that, and the fan is around $10).

@tech yes city, Brian I got the best bargain on ebay. It was on auction under for parts/not working only because the seller didnt have an operating system on it. He also listed in the details that there was a gtx 760 in the pc but it was actually a 780 which I noticed in the very blurry pictures. None the less I picked it up for $251.38 and what I got was i5 2500k with stock cooler, evga ACX sc gtx 780, 16GB ddr3 from corsair, bluray drive, 2 x 2TB internal HDD, 1 x 240gb ssd, sound blaster sound card, tv tuner, 750w antec modular power supply, HAF X case with fans, gigabyte Z68X-UD3R motherboard. Everything works well, I know I can get about $850+ for it all. (this is all AUD)

I had the Asus 970 strix was the best over clocker i had. I got mine new for £215 when 1070 was relesed. I had one already that i paid £289 for 2 wks before. In sli they would keep up with the series 10 cards in 1080p, actually beat the 1070 in firstrike.

have you tried checking if the li-po/li-ion battery is swollen or puffy? or it could be just as simple as a hardware fault so all you need to do is unplug the battery, wait 10 secs and plug it back in then see if it powers back on. if this message helps anyone let me know i would like to hear on what you need to say about it. :)
