Just amazing chemistry between Roger Moore and Maud Adams - you got the feeling that Bond and Octopussy truly cared for one another.

Along with the Spy Who Loved Me this is my favorite Bond film with Roger Moore. There aren't too many gadgets this time, and the story of Cold War tension and espionage makes it all the more exciting. This is a good fight scene too, one of Roger's best.
@dnasty3122 жыл бұрын
My favorites of Sir Roger's are _The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only_ and _Octopussy._ Do enjoy _Live and Let Die,_ have a soft spot for _A View to a Kill_ and enjoy parts of _Moonraker_ but those first three are just classic.

This might be one of Roger's best fight scenes during his tenure. He looks confident doing the stunts and the poor schmuck who gets countered and fishtanked... Nuff said.

I had a Hollywood Screener tape of this in 1983 that had no music soundtrack, and this fight scene worked really well without the music! Too bad I didn't keep the tape (bad copy).

That prop was used in real life also. Rodger had left something the size of Tracy island in the bowl so the yo-yo blades were needed to chop it up a bit so it could be flushed off into the Ganges
