What is the difference between on-court coaching and off-court coaching? I see players in WTA/ATP tournaments are already able to interact with their coaches during towel runs and changeover. Is this about ITF rules just catching up now, since WTA and ATP already allows this?

It has been happening for a couple of years, this just makes it more permanent.

Dislike allowing off court coaching for all the reasons on social media the video showed but most of bc it is unfair to players who don't have the millions the top players have. Shld provide to everyone a change over phone call so at least the players who have fiancial challenges can hear from their coach too.

ATP has been trying to ruin tennis for some time now. Why should I expect less. Just one of the reasons pickleball is taking over the courts of America.

I don't like it, but I can see why the younger players would need it. Some of it is around emotional maturity, but the coaching doesn't seem to help much there on lots of players.

What do they mean “no other sport”? Many sports are one on one no coaches. Snooker for one. Many others.

Do not like off court coaching. Unfair to players who cannot afford top tier coaches. Also strategy and problem solving is an integral part of the game
