Me and my friends had a really good time here . We spent three nights in the cabin two weeks ago . We played cricket, sang songs. Prepared meals in outdoor fireplace. Even we had a bath in the river . We had the whole place ourselves!! We got carried away by the majestic views . This place is a paradise!!

Thank you Bryce for introducing us to the inspirational Honeywell Hut and to the most lovely couple Fiona & Richard. I am from Canada where mountainous beauty takes your breath away with its' rarified beauty. Although here, with the hut history of 3 generational homefront with it's nefarious conjob beginnings actually became a treasure of immeasurable value. Richard your poem The Batton River, like Henry David Thoreau's Walden Pond reveal the inseparatable relationship between man and nature's beholding heartbeat. Your calm happinesss is unescapable as we are drawn into your simple crafted life of an extraordinary syncrniistic quality. Cheers. 🌱🌲💚

That cabin on that land was spectacular and made me wish I could spend a wk out there. I suffer from agoraphobia but I’m sure I would be able to do that. Just by the way I felt immediately. Great video for sure. U r amazing.

JBL Asutavario interesting how they didn't show those beautiful sheep getting slaughtered. Good people don't abuse animals and no real enviromentalist eats animals or animal products. Animal agriculture is the leading cause of global warming and deforestation and ocean dead zones and habitat destruction. Referring to it as a 'beef' farm. Disgusting, those poor animals.

Lovely to see some neighbours (we live nearer the coast, but not far from here) and their gorgeous home. The poem at the end was beautiful. More NZ vids!! ❤️

Idyllic cabin and setting and lovely people! You don't meet nice folk like these all the time! I think his grand father got a great deal! You don't need gold when you have people like these in a lovely community and stunning setting. The horses are the icing on the cake as far as I am concerned! The river story is beautiful, beautifully told! This is the very best one yet!
