I grew up making mayo and ketchup dressing. When I got older, I added grated onion and sweet relish with touch of vinegar. It was delicious! Lately, I used vegan mayo with organic ketchup. So, so glad I've found an oil-free recipe. Thank you so much!!

I think it's ironic and a shame that your wonderful plant-based KZbin channel has ads for pastrami and hamburger and fast-food franchises. I sat here through your dressing conversion and had to watch 3 ads that sponsored carcinogenic meats. I appreciate your channel, you have a pleasant presentation and explanation for why you do it. Thank you.

I’ve heard of thousand island dressing but never tasted it or knew what was in it. I’m really looking forward to trying this recipe! Also, the salad you made is right up my street. I love putting raisins in my salads, and sometimes I chop up some dried apricots - they taste wonderful, and sweet too, and they add some colour. Also dried cranberries. Occasionally I chop up some clementine segments too. I always add pumpkin and hemp seeds, and nearly always add chopped raw baby spinach to the Romaine lettuce. I sometimes pop outside and clip a few herbs from the garden to add as well. I love raiding the pantry for anything that takes my fancy to go in a salad! I never used to be a salad person but now I love them. I must investigate some of your other dressing recipes! Thanks so much for sharing.

Agree with blue cheese. I would also like to see a version of Dr. Furhman's Sesame Almond Dressing. Don't know if it could be made without almond butter. Maybe use almond milk and a little extract for the flavor??? Also, that pour spout on the nutri-bullet is so convenient! I don't have a one, and Costco has them on sale with 3 containers and lids this month. Hmmmmm...maybe a late Christmas gift for myself???

Hi, I see the Bragg’s liquid aminos on the counter but I didn’t see you add it. Is it supposed to be used in this recipe? Also, could I sub a date for the raisins? I made the recipe but felt it needed a bit of salt and thought maybe the bragg’s would do that. Thanks
@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow5 жыл бұрын
I felt like it didn’t need the Braggs but if you feel like it needs a little salt, by all means go for it. It is really just personal taste 😊Dates will work. We just liked the raisins better for this recipe.
