Oil Temp Gauge Install

You should check out the perfect tuning gauge especially if this car is on mega squirt. I have one in my 1996 Miata that a turbod earlier this year and I love it cause it allows me to look at anything I want that the ecu can see and you can change it on the fly from the gauge or your phone/tablet. Also any sensors you hook up to the gauge are able to also be seen by the ecu so you can set safety cuts or limp mode in the ecu settings.

I always feel the hole with 3M 5200 Marine sealant we will actually keep any rust from growing and it will last about 300 years

That little light is a low washer fluid indicator. I think it only lights up if you have an ABS equipped car since the washer fluid tank is moved up to the front of the car.

I have abs and I've removed my washer tank from the front bumper as well, no light on. Hmm

The light is lit while the pop ups are moving, or if one doesn't go down all of the way

It seems that on most cars, the headlight servo actuator indicator (the headlight icon) is below the tach, but it seems some may have it in the spot where the low washer indicator would normally be. In my case, its under the tach and the one you pointing to in the vid is my low washer fluid indicator.

Wire the gauge lighting into the headlights/dash lights and then the brightness should correlate with the dash; if you haven't done this already.

The reason that fuses have exposed piece of metal on each side on the outside of the fuse where the voltage actually a limit is that is for a test light so you ground the test light wire and then the tip of the test light you touch each hole or each piece of metal on the fuse without taking it out and it will tell you one if a fuse is blown cuz only one side will turn the light on instead of both sides but also you can instantly tell which fuses live when the key is not even in the ignition and then when the fuse becomes live in the accessory key mode or the actual on motor mode of the key you know what I mean in other words you'll be able to tell which fuse is only live when the motor is running not just when the key is on

For the brightness, I believe you could try to solder a resistor on the dimmer cable (200 to 300 Ohm).

Just rotate the zip tie around a little bit so you don't see the part that connects

Oil filter sandwich plate, I added one for an oil cooler. But you could add one specifically for a gauge

​@@IOAN2ER Potentially? I'm sure there are ones out there that can convert your filter threads/diameter. But the one I have still uses the same OEM size oil filter

30 seems good to me. Try Google searching it, I bet there is a forum post with more knowledge than myself
