My apologies Buckin, I haven't been a regular viewer even though I'm subscribed. Two kids, 3 sports and all that plus hunting, family vacations etc etc. but I broke out my saw to cut down some scotch broom that's taken over in a field and boy was she dull! I remembered you had a video on sharpening so when I started a search I found hundreds from everyone. But I felt the same way you did, I ain't taking advice from someone who's only cut for a couple of years, I'm after the gullet! Thank you kind sir for sharing effective knowledge!

Nice video, Billy. This is true with a sharpened chain, you can work better and lighter than with a blunt chain. You also need a lot less power and it is safer because you concentrate on the tree and not consider why the chainsaw does not cut properly.
