Moral of the story: NEVER do business with family or friends. It rarely goes well.

I can understand where a lot of this went wrong or how it can go wrong. I am very involved with my family and would really hate to think that we would do anything like that to each other. Hearing stories like these and also adding other aspects into the equation such as the industry, egos and other factors can make a person lose one’s self if they allow it. In this case, however it has gone, I wouldn’t say that you should not ever do business with family because as we all know families come in many different forms and shapes; you just can’t always trust everyone. I would like to personally think that I wouldn’t let a dollar change me and turn me against my family, if that were the case in this story and so many others that I’ve heard. So I don’t think it’s so much don’t do business with family, I think it’s more so of just making sure that you are trustworthy and also able to trust the people or persons that you are in business with and not lose who you are in that process.

The audience noticed how the band was all over us. The next night we went to see them again this time we met Shirley Murdock she was so sweet we came to the show about an hour before the show started, Shirley Murdock stepped down off the stage introduced herself to us & told us that her album would be out soon. The sad part is that if Larry was allegedly on drugs, it sounds like self-medication. Like I said above, Vietnam messed him up. Most of the military suffered from PTSD. Ashley, you left out some info Baby. Roger did indeed release another solo album between ZAPP 3&4,It was the solo album The SAGA Continues, ZAPP III was a Banger, but IV that's when the group was starting to go cold until 1987 when Roger came out the album Unlimited with the hit single I Wanna Be Your Man, a Platinum Banger.

Someone who is high end, in the industry, told me, Larry was jealous of Roger, because, when they went broke, there were a lot of stars, that would put money together for Roger, for projects, and he got big money, and didn't have to share it with Larry. Larry felt Roger was leaving the family business hanging. He wanted to touch some of every penny, that Roger made, or had given to him. The industry was taking care of Roger, because Larry was spending all of the money, but Roger was the star. 🤞🏾😬

Herbie Hancock used it before him in '78. He's the one that I first heard from his songs "I thought it was you", "sunlight", and "come running to me". His stuff was a year before Roger's release. It's interesting that Stevie did in 1972 and Peter in 1974.

@Mr. No Weapon (The Prince Of The Talkbox) That's why I never commented on her saying that. Popular music and good music aren't synonymous. Even in good music there are levels. So what people know from ubiquity might be robbing them.

@@shamonevictory , since they didn't die immediately, they may have forgiven. I'm inclined to believe that Roger understood why Larry did it and he knew that Larry's mind was already bad. I'm from a large family and I have seen my siblings forgive one another right after an argument. I'm the only one that took longer to let things go. That's probably because I am the baby, nine years behind the youngest prior to me. I saw them let go what to me was serious. That's the way my mother raised us.
