I love how he got the audience involved in his Dad's walk to school bit. My Dad was hilarious and he said the same things just to make us laugh. Of course he had to walk 12 miles uphill both ways barefoot in the snow, but "Six of those miles were behind enemy lines with your Aunt Gertrude on my back". When we were kids he told us to not put our gum wrappers in the ashtrays of his car because it was too expensive to flip the car over to empty them. He and Mom and I were at a railroad crossing waiting for a train to pass, when it finally did we noticed it had two cabooses. Dad said "Look!, Cabeese!" Mom and I laughed ourselves to tears. 16 years now without him, I think about him every day.

@@stephaniefisher2241 I'm glad that my late father brought a smile to you. Cheers, and good luck to you. He once told me I could see the stars during the daytime by looking through the sleeve of my jacket. I bought into it, and he poured a pitcher of water down the sleeve.

Mr. Bob Stromberg's stand-up is awesome! A stand-up comedy with well-organized storytelling and grace. I really enjoyed this. If there was no pandemic, I surely would fly over long-distance to enjoy his show. Thank you Dry Bar Comedy Channel for this marvelous upload.

I've twice had to have procedures that required drinking the "laxative of doom", and it's safe to say it works as intended. You could almost say it works TOO well. You need to drink 3 or 4 doses over the 12 hours before you go into hospital, so that's a dose every 3 or 4 hours. The first dose of it isn't so bad. For something the doctor's given you it almost tastes pleasant, but within minutes your stomach starts growling. About 10 minutes later you're on the toilet, and wishing you'd wore a crash helmet as the rectal rocket propulsion makes you think you might actually smash your head into the ceiling ! Seriously, you almost need to fit a friggin seatbelt to the crapper before taking this stuff !!! After that First dose it was an hour before I felt safe to leave the bathroom ! The second dose is the same, but slightly worse because you already know what's about to happen. By the last dose you're like Dumbledore in that horcrux cave, in a state of semi delirium, face covered in snot and tears, pleading with your other half not to make you drink the rest of the "Evil Poition" ! The stuff leaves you entirely empty, not wanting to ever eat or drink again, and the torrent of stomach acid and crap you've just etched the toilet pan with has also scoured about 90% of the skin off your sphincter. After going through all that, the actual rectal surgery feels like a minor inconvenience.
