November Rain is the next song in the Story. It is a true masterpiece. It was the first song pre KZbin to get a billion views. The music video is one of the best and most expensive even made. Estranged is the last song in the trillogy and it is super epic. Don't cry is just the starter, you have the main and dessert to come. These songs were different for Guns N Roses at the time because they were so epic. Especially November Rain and Estranged. Axl was the genius behind these songs. The rest of the band would have just kept doing their hard rock stuff. Axl wanted Guns N Roses to be as big as the Beatles or Queen. You can differently here this in November Rain. If they had stayed together the whole time then they would have been as big as the Beatles and Queen. Either way they are still one of the biggest bands of all time having sold over 100 million albums world wide. Sweet Child O' Mine is my fav song of all time, followed closely by November Rain.

I've never really got the love for November Rain. The second half is great, but the synths and melody on the first half just rub me the wrong way. My GNR ranking would be every song on Appetite, then You Could Be Mine and Don't Cry.

There are so many great guitarist and just because YOUR list has certain people on it doesnt mean that the list of others is invalid. Personal preference has a lot to do with top 10 lists. Pioneers, catalog of music, technical ability, live ability, songwriting skills and on and on. If someone thinks Slash is top 3 doesnt mean he isnt just because YOU dont think its correct, very subjective. Too much music to put other people's lists down

I would highly recommend reacting to some blind melon songs as they are a unique band from the 90s that do not get enough credit. The orgin of this song goes back to 1985. Izzy Stradlin ( the bands rythm guitarist and song writer) was dating a girl Axl had a big crush on. When Izzy and the girl broke up, Axl tried to date her. She said no. He cried and she told him don't cry. Later that night Axl and Izzy wrote the song in 5 minutes and became the first official song of the new and legendary line up for Guns N' Roses, recorded in 1985. But didn't come out officially until 1991.

Slash is very underrated even with the recognition he gets,he is fully capable of ear shredding solos and crazy riffs but he serves the music,he writes solos that advance the song and deepen the story, almost dramatising them which makes you just get swallowed by the song,he's an incredible guitarist and incredibly creative with his writing,he doesn't sound like any other lead guitarist because of this 👍🏻 he's my favourite lead guitarist of all time, you can tell he takes a lot of care and thought into writing these solos, even his lead guitar riffs stay very very close to the core of the song, guns and roses strength came from the fact that every single member of the band was immensely talented at what they do,duff was the same on bass where he stayed very true to the music and stayed within the boundaries of the song,Matt sorum on use your illusion 1+2 is one of the best drum performances ever because if you listen his drum lines stay very close to the guitars or the bass,it's phenomenal song writing across the board . . .
