Great video, I brought the 75" QNED91 last year and its been amazing. I was on the fence between this and a C1 at the time, and with price being a factor the QNED represented such good value it was hard to pass up. I can say it's been a great choice and I've been very happy with it. In December I added an XBOX Series X and gaming on this screen with 120Hz, ALLM and AMD FreeSync has been pure joy. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a top tier LG screen packed with the latest features, with support for 120Hz VRR gaming but at a good price.

Damn it! I thought I was sold on the OLED but this video changed literally everything. Now I'm going to go back and double check because the prices from a G2 OLED to a QNED that is actually slightly bigger, is MASSIVE by about 400%. $4,800 for a G2 OLED and only $1,600 for a QNED. The detail and accuracy when showing the water and the road make the QNED seem even better. I already liked it more before seeing this because I went into BestBuy to see them in person and the QNED TV has better viewing angles without getting dark since in a living room, not everybody gets to sit directly in front of the TV and some are at more of an angle. Plus the QNED is $400 less for the same size and specs. (65")

I feel like while oled has infinite contrast and deepest of blacks, oleds have to be maxed out almost just to brighten the image especially in brighter rooms. I have an LG CX and I am having to push the brightness during the day, when a miniled doesnt have to be pushed super hard to achieve a satisfactory brightness level. Freeze the video at 3:44. Notice that the OLED shows lighting on the round duct that is not show on the mini LED. Next, freeze at 3:59. Something isn't right here. The robot on the left side of the pictures is different colors. Also, the bottom of the screens, the OLED screen shows the blue light reflected of the ground and MINI LED shows red reflected from the ground. Now check the background. the area above left robot has more detail in the OLED than the MINI LED. The MINI led is more washed out. But now look at the area above the robot in the middle. The details in the MINI LED look washed out, but then some details on the OLED look missing. In particular, look at the 'light mound', and the grill vent above the light mound. Seems like there are trade offs. I wonder if the differences that I see are: The frames aren't exact. (color differences)? And maybe we are completely discounting the software rendering done by each tv. Anyways, good comparison. I'm leaning MINI LED. I think OLED shows more details in most situations, but I'm leaning toward MINI LED because I want to use the tv as a monitor, and I fear image retention. Also, there are other noticeable differences between the two screens on the other scenes, but this is enough for now. Thanks!

QD OLED have bad black levels. The quantum dot colour filter isn't 100% transparent so black levels are slightly higher. OLED in 65 tend to have a pink hue. Not a problem in the 77,83 sizes. One can also use the reduce blue light feature. Settings out of the box are not going to give best color results. Mini led should be very interesting, especially for larger screen sizes where costs are so high.

We can this pink hue on LG C2 to remove with color settings or this pink hue will always be?
@johntvedte8143 Жыл бұрын
@@vladimirshp2396 Unfortunately no. I’m not exactly sure why this occurs. I’ve read that some feel it’s the anti glare coating. Sometimes it’s more pronounced on a particular side of the screen. Not all panels have the issue - and is described as panel lottery. If it’s not visible, that panel is fine.

Got to be honest, never been a fan of LG TV’s - I think Mini LED does have some impressive attributes, but it’s OLED for me, especially the Panasonic 2000 series. I pulled out of buying a JZ2000 at the last minute earlier this year…but intend to get the LZ2000 as soon as it’s available in my local store.

LG manufacturers OLED panels for every make of TV. So whether you get a Sony or Panasonic OLED, it’s an LG panel underneath.

I really want a smaller mini led tv. I bought a 42” a90k oled for gaming. 55 is just to big for me

I ordered a few hours ago the LG 916 QNED mini LED, it was in Germany in sale for just 799€ instead of 1.400€ But I was so unsure and waited and then it was sold out, but during the night did ONE popped up on Amazon for 50€ more (850€ instead of 799) and I ordered it. But tbh, even now, I'm unsure if it was the right decision ;( I only watch on my TV with all lights removed who may be visible in the TV, windows are completely darkened. But currently would the LG OLED C3 (it's the best from the C series) cost around 1.600€ and I have to hope that it gets a deal in this black Friday week. I hate this purchasing pressure, I spent days on research and are still unsure ;(

how about motion handling? I've heard there are motion issues with qned91 specially model number qned916qe/ ghosting and double image

@@PcGamingForFun i gave the TV back and waited on a good deal for the OLED c3. I paid 1499€. The CS model in 65" was last month also on sale at Amazon for"just" 1100€. I have the "magic motion " remote control and it sucks, very hard to move, I prefer to use the arrows. Also the German UI is very poorly translated, it's a TV from 2023 and in 2023 could you easily translate any language to German with AI, Google or deepL. It's a shame for a TV which did official cost 3.200€. I didn't bought a QLED mini, and many people reported screen issues, so OLED is better, but: it's a HUGE amount of money, just for movies.

@@PcGamingForFun oh if you just talk about the image, many people don't know they can disable the assistance features. Especially "Clearview" should be disabled, it's unnormal. I disabled all AI systems to boost the image with fake effects. That improved the quality.

i know i'm late to this, but would really appreciate a reply. i'm hard of hearing so i watch everything with subtitles, i have read that they can sooner or later cause burn in on oled tv's, especially if they are bright white, which i need them to be. im between getting an lg c1 or c2, but now i.m thinking the LG miniLED might be a safer bet longterm. any thoughts, advice, recommendations? thanks

Oled is continuing to evolve. The lg g2 hits 900 plus in nits thanks to it's evo panel. Qdoled s95b hits 1,400 nits. I'll continue to stick with oled.

How long can it sustain that 1400 nits? What’s the sdr brightness? What’s the 100% brightness?

I bought a 65" QNED a month back and it was replaced twice due to horrible backlight bleeding and screen flickering, finally went with the lg cs 65" OLED and it's amazing And for the price, the QNED was £1099 and the OLED was on sale for £1250 .. so well worth the extra money
