Kinda agree with the "money doesn't buy happiness thing". For sure money cannot get you intangible stuff like friends, true love etc, but I think it's a really important tool to enable you to actually do the things you want. It doesn't fix everything, but it really gives you freedom (mentally & physically).

I actually have an issue of learning too much and I've had to learn what to prioritize, practice, and apply info retention methods. I give 80% of my time and effort to primary topics, 20% to secondary topics. Any tertiary interests I dabble with in my free time I purposely don't practice or schedule any time to learn or note progress. There's only so much time in a day and energy to burn that I now have to choose my interests wisely.

Currently working as an E.I.T right now due to needing 5 years experience to become a full P.Eng. My company does more than my current job but I am easily handle both at the same time. Come 5 years when I get my P.Eng I’m planning on “retiring” and starting another company
