I’m not sure that this would be for everyone, but we actually bring our ebikes inside our camper at night, right before we go to bed, and then we take them back out in the morning. It’s just extra peace of mind because regardless of what lock you have, the thieves can probably cut them, so that works for us, and so far we’re doing ok just keeping them locked during the day when they’re not in use.:)) Take care out there!! 👍🚴‍♂️🏔🔥
@LizAmazing

That's amazing you can fit ebikes inside a camper. If we had a toy hauler we could. Ours won't go in the door. Plus they are 75 pounds each, kind of a struggle to try to get them up steps. But from now on, locked and covered! Thanks for watching and hope to see you on the bike trail!

We stay at Chesapeake RV Resort every year when in VA. We got "locked down" there when Covid hit and stayed 58 days. They were great hosts and it was early in the season when they locked down so we almost had the campground to ourselves. Definitely a "go to" RV park.

That "worst" campground reminds me of the time we were pulling a pop-up and wanted to stay some place for one night in Vegas. We found a "campground" at Circus-Circus and attempted to set up. We had a thermometer in the trailer, and it was reading 130F ! We got our stuff out, closed up and booked a room. Maybe that was their intent by making a campground out of asphalt.

Glad to see you 2 together again. I live alone and have my art and atlatl competition to keep me busy. I'm sure I would be miserable in such close quarters as you guys choose to live. One thing I'm much like Paul in that I'm always busy building or fixing. Now that age has caught up, it is so frustrating to do everything. My mind and body will no longer perform close to the level as before. But I'm learning to slow down and enjoy taking my time getting things done and so on. Following your channel since 2019. It's been interesting how the 2 of you cope with life on the road. I hope you continue enjoying each other and have massive gratitude for this opportunity late in life. Good luck and great love, Tim

This video is so nice! Makes me want to go camping when I am off for my 7 days, I work 7 on 7 off. Anyway, 2 horses in tow in horse trailer RV. Maybe one day, but I love where I camp now. Its an hour from Tallahassee north of Greenville Fl..I am next to a 3-4 acre large pond and no one else is there with me. The view is just grand! My landlord is my, barrel racing, neighbor and she’s a blessing for letting me stay. The horses have a small pasture and they love being with me daily. Its a perfect set-up for me at this time.. I will travel to other campgrounds one day but for now I love where I am at now.. Many blessings to you and to all the viewers you have !! I have been following you Liz for many years. Happy to see smiling faces on camera!! Love you both!!

Rancheria RV Resort, now Burney Falls/Hat Creek KOA, in Hat Creek, CA. Rustic feel with full hookups. Little pond among pine trees. No cellular or WiFi but they have satellite TV for ten hours! Great restaurant on site. Warm in the summer and snow in the winter. Great fishing along Hat Creek. Not a bad drive. 30 miles to the town of Burney that has just about all you should need. Glad to see you both back together. No matter where I go I always lock everything down . I even put a chain on my grill and attach to axles . I know some state parks in Texas they have a gate with a code to get in and out at night but there are some that don’t. To keep nighttime visitors out. I will call the state park or wherever I stay to ask if they have a gate at the front. It doesn’t keep your stuff totally safe but it will at least keep people out at night. That are running around at night.

Loved your video! The campground I will NEVER go back to is Lynden KOA in Lynden, WA. It was my first time in my camper and it wasn't very good! There was a whole group of us that were having power problems. I went to the office several times and was promised that a maintenance guy would come by when I was at my site. I was working at the nearby fair! Nobody ever came by and the power problems were never resolved! I complained to the KOA main office and was told that there was nothing they could do because it was a KOA franchise! Amazing! I considered selling my trailer after that experience!

Great video, good info. Thanks Liz and Paul! Yellowstone Grizzly RV Resort is definitely a favorite. Pricey, but beautiful, well kept, with a large play area in the center, in West Yellowstone and close to the National Park entrance. One in an Idaho small town, campground with water and electric right next to the municipal airport where we enjoyed watching the small planes taking off and landing. It was very peaceful and quiet. Also a local campground with lots of beautiful well kept trees, a swimming pool, a playground and trail nearby to scooter/walk along when we take our grandson with us. Where not to stay-Sun Outdoors in Salt Lake City. The perimeter has sites with trees and grass, there is a pool, too, but the inside sites are very close and small and concrete. We could hear the traffic the whole time! Felt a little creepy and it appeared some people were living there full time. Luckily we were there for only one night.

On vacation with my parents one year, we visited the Kentucky Jorse Park. I specifically remember their parade of breeds show and it was amazing! Having grown up with a horse and having one into my mid-thirties, this was particularly interesting to my dad and I. It was also memorable because it was the last vacation I took with both of my parents. Beautiful part of the country! I had the good fortune to spend a fair amount of time working in Louisville and I really thought that was a wonderful city too, although I didn't get to see a lot of it but we did have a work event at Churchill Downs one evening. Kentucky is a lovely place! That Montana campground out Glacier...wow! The drone footage was fantastic and this place is stunning! Thank you so much for putting this together! Really nice video, nice to see what campgrounds are like throughout the country. My wife and I live in Indiana, we like to camp in our state parks, a few have full service hook ups. They are usually quite at night, except on holiday weekends, party time, and have bike and hiking trails. We’re not much for resort camping, just a nice place to put our trailer with decent space. When we retire in a few years we want to start taking long trips, maybe a month or two long, and explore the country, so much to see. Probably won’t stay at any one place more than a week, maybe two, just long enough to explore all of what we want to see, then onto the next spot. We will for sure not be staying at that Vegas campground, nooo way!

Hi Paul & Liz, good to see you back in the saddle again.Enjoyed your favorite campground video as we have been to many of those you mentioned. I would think you had a rough time getting the list in order from 10 down to 1, as enjoyment is a subjective thing. Our mileage has varied with TT mainly because they've gotten so run down, but the best campgrounds are by far (in our humble opinions, of course :) the Oregon State Parks. Bend Oregon is our favorite area because of all the great weather and outdoor activities for everyone. Wowsers, they are awesome. WOW Lake Neshonoc is # 3 on your distinguished list. That was my (Dave's) frequent campground from the late 1960's to the mid 1970's. Back then it was a small "mom and pop" campground with maybe 100 sites. My folks started there in a tent, then a pop-up, and finally a travel trailer. Their travel trailer ended up at a permanent site overlooking the lake. They had a couple different boats over the years. Dad taught bunches of fellow campers and their kids how to ski. One summer we had a small fishing boat, one pair of skis, and a bunch of canoe paddles. The boat had only enough power to pull a skinny teenager (not me, but I got to drive!) up on 2 skis, but could go fast enough for him to kick off a ski and slalom. When he fell we used a trick we saw from a ski club out of LaCrosse - tossed a canoe paddle to him, slow troll while he strategically balanced a ski an a paddle on his bare foot, then hit it as hard as a 25HP Evinrude could to pull him out of the water. Next time we got close to shore he kicked off the ski and slalomed on the paddle. "Rinse and repeat" until we ran out of canoe paddles. We camped at a few other local campgrounds, but Lake Neshonoc was always our favorite. Great to hear that the place is thriving and still a favorite.

What a great story and good memories! I was reading the history (they have a little exhibit the local high school made for them) when I was there. The original campground was the lower part. It really is a sweet place, so glad you know it!

Great video! Regarding the “town” of West Glacier…we were just there last week, and there really is very little in the way of services there. There is one tiny market with high prices. Our Airbnb host (we’re not RVers…yet) recommended we pick up groceries in Columbia Falls, which is about 20 minutes west of West Glacier. Not an awful distance, but when you’re there to visit Glacier National Park, that’s what you want to be doing, not running for groceries! Glad to see you two back together again.

We also love Idyllwild and Rancho Oso and they are fairly close to home for us. We have stayed quite a few times in the Las Vegas Thousand Trails usually as a way point but a couple of times just to go see a show (We used Lyft since we were in a class B and it was so convenient). The only thing we haven't liked about the Las Vegas location is the heat. Forget using your fridge until you have escaped the area. lol.

When you are in Vegas the nicest RV park is The Oasis at the end of Las Vegas Blvd. Very nice and safe. Also why not go for the Wild West feel and go "over the hump" as they say to Pahrump, NV? The nicest park is Nevada Treasure and it truly is a treasure. Beautiful desert mountains all around, wild horses and burrows and just a 45 minute drive to Vegas. Death Valley is 30 minutes away and lots of interesting day trips elsewhere.

Hey!! That's my home park, being that I started my RV life in Vegas. I think of it as purely a UTILITARIAN park, meaning it's a free place to camp (w/TT) if you need/want to go to Vegas. And yeah, it's not a great part of town, BUT it's where ALL the RV campgrounds are - so what are you gonna do .. . That said, the one thing that is OUTSTANDING at that park is the staff!! Many have been there since I got my first RV in July of 2018. I don't like crowded parking lot camping one bit, but like I said, if you just use it as a place to sleep at night (nevermind the helicopters and searchlights 🤣🤣) then, it serves it's purpose 😁👍🏻

My favorite campground is Meeks Bay Resort on Lake Tahoe in California. It's one of the few, if not the only campground with full hook ups that is on the lake...not across the hwy. Pros: Large sites, fair price, on the lake, small campground, beautiful beach, decent grill, small store with rental toys and it's run by a local Native American tribe. Cons: NO dogs allowed, they allow a lot of day use people, it's hard to get a reservation because of all the good things, and it's only open mid-May through mid-October.

We are more into the C.O.E. type of camping when we can get full hookups. Sometimes it's a crapshoot, you can get stuck with the Munsters as neighbors. Especially on the weekends. But were just getting ready for extended travel starting at year end. DW and I both had surgeries to recover from and work to do on the S&B. Yeah, it's paid for so we're keeping it. Favorite: Timberlake Campground - Whittier, NC - (in 1975). (I still remember Althia Vaughn). Worst:Aquia Pines "Camp Resort" - which abuts the R.o.W. of I-95 and US-1 imagine pulling your RV to the side (break-down-lane) of I-95 - 20 miles south of D.C. the 50 amp plug stands have exposed bare wires affixed to unsecured plugs, the water pressure depends on the time of day, and the sewer hook-ups randomly back-up onto the ground. Then imagine paying over $70.00 per day - then try to deal with the owner who will just tell you to pound sand. The only saving quality is you can easily buy drugs within walking distance. Runner-up for worst - that's a tie between several in Alaska where you must be careful opening your slide into your neighbor. Then there's the roads in Alaska - where if you don't have an "off road" RV with at least Goodyear Endurance tires - you either better have really good insurance or on your RV or just plan on abandoning it on the side of the road - and of course don't forget your windshield........... LoL - "he who dies with the most memories, wins the game of life............"
