This walk thru the mine reminds me of crawling thru old Victorian houses basements. Some old Victorian mansions have tunnels from the days of prohibition.

I am sure glad that I found your FB Page early on and also Subscribed to your KZbin Channel early on. Also, I am happy that it was you who wound up with these mines as not many people would be as dedicated in restoring them so others can enjoy them. I sincerely thank you for sharing these videos and your input while making them. I also thank you for your Service! I worked in underground mines in the '70s (Trona, Coal, and Borate) and they were nothing like these older mines due to all the newer safety features and the equipment used. It is always a pleasure to the mines of days past though. Thank you again for the videos and input!

Was thinking you should restore part of the track & rig an old golf cart electric motor to match the track gauge to zip in and out. Wonder if one could use some of those I-tags for location points, to orient high & lower levels?

Drinking crap beer in your mine is much more offensive. Although drinking in any mine is the act of a dummy. I admire your motives and actions. By trying to get along with the community that you chose, I feel that you are quite fair to your neighbors and visitors. Thanks to Wonder hussy for introducing us, may it be by web video. I have always had an interest in geology ( since 5 yrs. old) I lived in Arizona and Coachella Valley and wandered many miles of desert. I live in Hawaii now ( Big Island) and miss the diversity of the geological types represented in the South Western deserts.

I'm not a heavy drinker. But I have learned a few things over the years about alcohol. Alcohol lowers your body temperature. I actually learned that in a biology class in college. So when I get overheated and I have been drinking water I will have a beer or two. I find it helps me. I have pushed myself too far in the heat many times. Also, when we are out deer hunting and get hungry a beer will kill the hunger, because of the carbs, until we can get back to camp. We are not constantly sucking down frothies, just one.
