Are you going to make any rooms like Brent at Cerro Gordo? He made a library and a living room. Last year he had a Christmas video in the living room. It was funny. Thank you. I'm glad your saving that place.

Way cool journey with a first class guide. A Uv light to look for flourescent minerals would be a nice touch.

Wow, the "mountain mole", back in the mines, preserving the history, showing the history, and sharing the magic. Well done Sir on a wonderful tour of the War Eagle Mine. By the name of the mine, I'm assuming that this was where the lead was mined for the war effort. If wrong, still a super interesting video.

Much of the lead for both World Wars and Korea came out of this mine, so yes, you're right.

Awesome video, Chris! I have to admit that I am a little envious as I love old mines but I am more than happy that you wound up with them and the work you, and volunteers, are putting into them. One of the reasons that I take a lot of pictures of mines and petroglyphs when I go out is to preserve what is there, at the time, as I have been out to historical sites and revisit them maybe 10 years later and have witnessed the destruction from boneheads. Thank you, my friend, for what you are doing and for keeping those who care abreast of what is going on with your mines!

Perhaps in your pursuit for ladders, you could find some KZbin scrapers from larger cities nearby could collect the cast off bedframes to be repurposed into your ladders.

That's a shame people sneaking in and leaving a mess too ! I don't have to respect anything or anyone. The new Anthem. Destroying stuff. Running a car down a shaft. I'm glad you're there now, Ross. If I do make it out in that area, I'll have to swing on by and say Hi.

They sure did some great timber work. The effort that went into taking required equipment into and out of the mines was just massive. I am no longer able to say what they should do to people who vandalize property. They just make it unsafe for others and also make it so others may not be able to see how things were. My experience being in mines is limited, I enjoy when people such as yourself take the time to do these videos. Thank you for sharing this with us today from Henrico County Virginia

All I can say is that you a very brave man tracking around that abandoned mine complex! I admire your commitment to history, it is not seen much in these United States where everything must be new and we do not learn from the old which comes to bite us in the a..! Good luck to you and your videos!!!

Good question. Had a fairly notorious youtuber from Canada named Frank who broke in here last year while I was away and shot videos without my permission. But I love the rest of the Canadian people.
