This battle is such a BS. Dan was clearly at the disadvantage here as Mr. Satan is the ultimate martial artist and the true hero of Dragon Ball who is capable of fighting with opponents such as Perfect Cell or Kid Buu who are considered to be one of the strongest villains not only in Dragon Ball History, but in anime history and not only that, he is more than capable of easily beating them as he in fact did. His strength puts 9001 Hulks to shame and his cunning eyes are capable of seeing through any kind of trickery and illusion. Next Time pick Mr. Satan a worthy opponent such as Alucard or Galactus will ya?. Maybe they will give Mr. Satan somewhat decent challenge.

This is...exactly how I pictured a fight between Dan Hibiki and Mr.Satan going down. I mean, yeah. Mr.Satan is nowhere near as powerful as the Z-Warriors. But on his own he's a competent martial artist. Dan Hibiki just wins with pure luck. He has some energy moves but let's face it, in terms of general fighting abilities, it's obvious that Mr.Satan would outclass him and things like his Jet Pack and gadgets would certainly even the score for Dan's paltry energy attacks.

Sagat and Ryu have abilities that can level buildings and Akuma is a guy who's punched an Asteroid destroying it as it entered the Earth's Atmosphere and broke an island in half. Hercule is a competent Martial Artist who's an above average warrior. But compared to the Z-Warriors who are planet busters, he's outclassed. Like, Goku could vaporize an asteroids with one hand so he'd Body Akuma. And since Ryu and Sagat can fight on the same level as Akuma i't safe to assume that they have similar abilities and powers.

I love how people are saying Mr. Satan is a weakling unable to beat Street Fighters just because he's a joke compared to super saiyans which can destroy planets with their fingers... Well, this is just my personal opinion, but here it is. from what I seen, Hercule is actually a really decent fighter. he just looks weak due to him being compared to the Z fighters. Dan is just weak, period. Not sure how the fuck he can hold his own against anybody, let alone Hercule. That's just form what I've seen. Probably missed something here and there, but I know him to be weak.

But as a normal humans POV he was kinda strong, he could punch through steel like it was nothing, beat the shit out of spopovich like it was nothing (before he spopovich got an evil power up) so he would most likely be one of main contestants in the first world martial arts tournament in Dragon Ball. He didn't train with Gouken for very long, but he did train with Gouken, and while Dan is hilariously weak compared to the rest of the Street Fighter cast, he's still a better fighter than the average martial artist as shown in the Udon comics.
