Thanks.I find it funny that Line 6's Amps are exactly how I would want amps to be.Great.Litigator, Cartographer. 2204 Mod, Placator, Ventoux, Fatality. ( As far as I've reached) . The responses are a lot better than the other stuff that I expected to be better. Fantastic channel.Superb player.

I think I just woke up the entire island from laughing at the channel update. Just when I caught my breath you hit me with the Mason from vertex line. A centrist pleasant pheasant. I'm now selling my hx stomp to fund Bothering Birds. Best bit of Cordy Content™ I've seen since the wedding speech.

Your content is great John - your playing is, of course, inspiring and tasteful and the sounds you explore and information you share is much appreciated. You're putting out an astounding amount of content. I hope your subscriber count starts to take off because you deserve it. In the meantime, I bought you a few coffees!! Cheers.

I had a blast messing around it last night and was digging the hell out of it. Probably the most responsive amp sounds I've dialed in on Helix, albeit my tones were either a bit too dark and flubby or shrill and crispy so I'm still getting a feel for it. I think messing around with different cabs and IRs will give me what I'm looking for. Side note, Pheasants are delicious.

I fear if this pheasant thinks this is a normal way that a human responds to this kind of behaviour, he made end up getting eaten....rather than featured in a video

You're playing is immaculate. I prefer roots rock and hard rock, and the HX Stomp is great for those styles too.

Not sure I agree that he was a very pleasant pheasant . I saw a pheasant that wasn't all that pleasant. He seemed inccessant and showed signs of adolocences?- You're commitment to your interview with Mason was truly outstanding! But, I have heard from a reliable source (another little birdy) that the bird was not Mason, but in fact a pheasant called Clement. - Top work as always Mr Cordy
@timhopkins38102 жыл бұрын
Mason seems a lot angrier than last time I saw him, maybe it’s all that talk of him not being a real doctor and just a cloner 😂 The new amp sounds great! Looking forward to trying it out later with the new dynamic reverbs - starting to find it hard justifying also having a flint with the addition of these 2 and the hot springs in the last release…
@johnnathancordy2 жыл бұрын
the Flint will always be a classic....probably?

I've found having the gain up and master cranked but putting a volume block at around 30-50% (on logarithmic setting) in front of this amp makes it behave reeeaaaally nicely as a clean tone.
@Stringprodigy2 жыл бұрын
You can get a great clean tone without using a volume block

It was obvious you were having a good time :) Nugent tried Eddie's guitar and still sounded like Nugent. No matter what amp you use, it's still clearly you coming through. Good to hear you energized. I honestly have no idea, but he's making a name for himself in the neighbourhood, apparently he chased a farmer's wife. I worry that someone won't find it so funny and may kick him, but I'm super happy I got to see him up close. Although my hand hurts.

I had some fun with the Ventoux last night. It does have the sound often associated with "boutique" Amps. That is an unpleasant Pheasant. Is it a wild bird? Certainly angry about something. You getting too friendly with its hen? 😜
