The whole thing of humans turning into werewolves is decently new! The inspo actually came from Wulvers which are from Scotland! They are humanoid with a wolf head, they are kind and helpful, often seen fishing and they leave fish out in villages if they see the village struggling for food!

Nah, legends of people who would be able to turn into werewolves are as old as Ancient times. The word lycanthrope actually stems from an Ancient Greek myth, and Europe has had shapeshifter legends since the early Middle Ages. Other parts of the world also have shapeshifter legends, such as tales of were-hyenas in African cultures and were-tigers in Asia.

I got the biggest smile when Daz said he was a werewolf fan. I totally agree they are under used in films and shows. And not just wereWOLVES, but all were creatures in the mythos. I got the encyclopedia of werewolves when I was a kid, real thick book with tons of information that I think all werewolf fans should have a look at, and since getting that book my love for werewolves just grew. So glad to see Daz is a fellow werewolf fan.
