What is God? I've come to the conclusion after 50 years of life that the word God relates to the human experience of having an uninhibited conscious mind: not having language based thoughts and just living in the here and now. Unfortunately the majority of people can't experience this 'state of being' anymore due to the negative experiences they've had with other people. Believing in God won't change anything because the damage has already been done.

@@PeterPete I empathise completely with you. I've been in this state of mind lonnnnnnngggggterm, on several occasions. It can be rare when joyous or happy emotions pop through. Know that God is NOT a face with a Santa Claus beard but this visualization may represent the ancient Greeks who philosophized about the Spiritual Energy of which the ancients from all corners of planet Earth had direct experience through the spiritually-scientific esoteric, psychic, prayerful, meditational, tantric, yogic, metaphysical, supernatural, paranormal, energy work. I've had psychic phenomena happen all my life and we all have the potential to use our psychic skills and there are many different psychic gifts, for instance one psychic may not understand another psychic's experiences just because they have a different psychic gift. And these are different ways of experiencing the God energy. It is an Energy. It is the Universal Energy, and when it is described as an intelligent, communicable energy, this is because all Souls, Spirits, Angels, Archangels, Ascended Masters and Dominions etc etc are residing within this energy. We Souls/Spirits who chose to come down into the physical body (and we can reincarnate millions of times through time and space of we so wish to help fine-tune and enhance the collective Human experience through collective Conscience/Consciousness with those still in the aether and the other Souls around us who have manifested their own physical body on Earth) to work practically on evolutionarily improving and enhancing the Human collective Psyche over aeons into the Age of Aquarius ♒ which we have just entered. Look at people like Esther Hicks (who channels her late husband in conversations with others on stage for all to view) for starters and you'll begin to understand how the God Energy works ✨♥️😌👌🏽 Once you see her videos you'll see other subject-related channels to help you get to know your own personal portion of the infinite and eternal God Energy✨♥️😌👌🏽

@@theringale7425 the Asanas in yoga are created in such way that they bring you in to alignment with the universal energy when you practice. Lewis you are very wise. Emotions are our guidance system, and letting us know if we are aligned towards what we desire or not - and it is wise to appreciate them all, for they are indicators of awareness. All contrast in our lives is needed for evolution. Therefore, when we experience contrast, our negative emotions are valuable, in that they let us know we are not wanting a particular experience, We can then flip our mindset and turn our attention towards the newfound desire created as a result of the contrast, instead of the contrast that created it. This way we are always moving in the direction of our greatest joy.

I have one friend... She is my friend because when we speak to each other about difficult things, (negative experiences) we do it in a way, where we are trying to understand our feelings and are actively looking for a way to improve the situation.. We hold no judgement towards each other.. If we don't want the other persons opinion, we just want to vent, we will say it to each other.. We are also both introverts so if we are slow replying or go weeks without talking, it is no big deal.. We are both into law of attraction and have overcome similar situations.. She adds so much value to my life..

I've noticed for many years that when people retell stories from their past they (myself included here) tend to remember the bad things over the good. You run into someone you haven't seen in a while and ask how they're doing... Soon you regret asking as all the problems pour out or you get an insincere 'fine'. It doesn't seem to matter if it's a childhood memory, thoughts about an old relationship, or recalling last week, take any given time period and out of 99 good things that happened, the 1 that sucked usually will over ride all the rest. Why are people in general so inclined to the negative and so unaware of it?

Is it possible to mend the relationship? If you all were good friends, then reconciliation should be considered. Some people are destructive and some are difficult. We can all be difficult at times, but it shouldn't be a deal breaker, if the good outweighs the bad. However, if your friend is a destructive force in your life, let her/him go.

For real, it's ridiculous... just make a clip that goes over it instead of making us sit through an interview that's almost 2hours.

Thank you Lewis for bringing Dr Ethan and thanks for this amazing topic I needed to hear this because I I constantly have the voice in my mind and sometimes I don’t know to quiet it. But with the tool given here in this conversation it gives perspective. I’m so grateful to both of you for sharing your knowledge and time.

Funny saying my father said to me was "I open my mouth to change my socks". Thinking about those that hurt you and wether you hold on to it or figure out how to let it go. I believe that there is more to life than holding on to something that doesn't serve the future you. I find that being upset with someone only hurts you in the long run. You get upset and fume for a day or two and you end up getting sick. The other person doesn't feel the same way about the situation and is fine. I tend to release it sooner than later. Really the material world is but a moment in time. There is so much more to life with natures beauty that shows you through its eyes and seeing those small harsh moments as an adventure is a whole lot better than holding on to resentment which only hurts your future you. I know that there are some truly evil events that happen to people and some people can't seem to get over it. I don't have an answer for those, they stump me.

'What it would be if ppl would use more of empowering thoughts and positive thoughts over negative '''...I think it could be very risky with some individuals, it could lead to misjudgement..best is rationalization;)

Pick and choose thoughts based on the social environment. Invest in noise-cancelling headphones for when irritated try your best to think of a way to interrupt yourself or shock the body. Its like on the show dog whisperer, ceasar milan gives the tap on the neck and a "pssst" for dog to regain focus.

Lewis, this episode was fantastic! It got me so motivated that I did my laundry and worked out while I watched. Such good advise, and I love when you share your own experiences and rituals (so not weird!) When you started talking about your struggles at the end of an intimate relationship it got me teary... I can relate. You're awesome Lewis!

This interview, this information is wonderful, thank you very much! An observation for Lewis, friend, a joke is fine for a moment, but sometimes it interrupts the interviewee and cuts off the flow of what he is explaining. But, definitely a great interview as always, thanks again! Cheers!

This cracks me up basically I see this from a male vs female approach. As men we tend to always want to fix things vs women can in my experience listen to hours & hours of corumination with no expectation & in many cases not wanting solutions or resolution to the above listed concerns. ... 12 is way too young for dating though on any level. Good luck either way.
