After intensely studying God’s Word for more than 40 years, this wonderful professor’s insights and his willingness to share his discoveries with the masses, including me, caused me to fall on my face and thank God for such an authentic teacher of The Word. After hearing Dr. Heiser teach just a few times I had to start all over again with my understanding of Scripture and how to rightly divide The Word. Michael’s work was recommended to us at a festival by an amazing artist who was exhibiting there. My wife and I watched one episode and then started binging his work - amazing. This is such a lovely anniversary tribute. The ending with his widow speaking had me in tears; I prayed the same thing when my dad's health was in decline and I wasn't ready to let him go. In the same way, though, I finally had to let go and say, "Okay, God. You can take him, if need be; he'll be in a much better place in Your hands." And I trust that that last statement is true, both of my dad and Dr. Heiser. I thank God our Father for having loaned us Dr. Heiser for the time that he did.
