10:21, that skit is why this Pitch Meeting beats the Honest Trailer. It’s an actual legitimate criticism of the film (that it’s extremely reliant upon prior knowledge of five previous movies not in the same franchise to work) and it’s relayed in a humorous way (because of the sheer absurdity of a superhero movie producer in the Spider-Man movie having never heard of any of the 21st Century Spider-Man movies.)

I don't really have a problem with Ned doing magic or Doctor Strange doing the spell so fast, but you can feel the rewrites here. Originally Doctor Strange 2 was supposed to come out before Spider-Man: NWH and all of these roles were probably meant for America Chavez(who we would have already met in Doctor Strange 2). And her doing this stuff makes a lot mor sense, since she isn't that experienced yet.

THANK YOU!!! Ned used one (1) magical artifact and had the advantage that he believed in magic from the very beginning. Stephen Strange - who has perfect recall - spent countless hours studying magic and is able to cast many, many spells and use many, many artifacts. Ned was off to a fine start as a sorcerer; no doubt that in a decade or so he'll be a formidable match for Strange or Wong, assuming that he stays with it.

Honest Trailers took this one lol In my mind, this movie only had 2 mistakes... that Flashpoint book and the wound still on MJ's forehead 1. absolutely no way a book can be written and published in the week or so that Peter's identity was revealed (especially one of that size) 2. If that wound was still on her forehead at the end, that implies there would still have to be physical pieces of evidence of Peter's identity all over the place (all those hate/support signs and Flashes impossible book).

I said it before. Ned is using the easiest magical item to use. It’s literally the first thing they practice with at the wizard school Strange went to. He’s not casting an actual spell. He’s using a magic item. He also can use it easier than Strange first try cause he actually believes in magic where as Strange didn’t believe in it when he was trying out and struggled with it

@@OsSas3 ok yes i forgot about the astral plain. But even then. There is a difference with how both of them were doing magic on how they were feeling in the moment of opening a portal And i just think it’s just Ned THINKING he has magic in his family so he thinks he can do it. He’s more confident with himself. Where as, Strange had his hands broken and didn’t believe he could do it cause of his broken hands and when that wasn’t the issue he kept making excuses as to why he can’t. He was only able to fully do it when it was either open a portal or die

I don't understand the Ned sling ring hate, honestly. It wasn't just that it's relatively basic sorcery - it's that from the very beginning using the sling ring was very much about 'surrendering' and 'believing'. Ned, even if through pure ignorance of the scope of the ability, totally believed he could do it. The entire reason Stephen couldn't was because he was in his own head about it because of his hands. Ned had no such mental block.

Supposedly they wanted to include Mysterio or Rhino as the sixth member, but there were already ten main characters to follow (heroes, villains, and side characters) so that would have been even more work to cram in there, and maybe because Sony didn't want them to so that they could create their own version. I know that you already saw my comment explaining how they easily could have made some version of Mysterio be included with nothing to really hurt the plot or runtime, so I still think it could have worked. Rhino would have been fun to see, but it is hard to think how they could really cure him of anything since he is in a rhino mech and not trapped in a suit like the comics, and he also would have been overshadowed. The only other options were Vulture, who didn't really have much to do with the multiversal villains, Shocker, who isn't really that interesting of a character yet, Scorpion, who could have worked but they hadn't really set him up yet so he would have been overshadowed, and maybe Tom Hardy Venom, who could have been a villain by not knowing the full details and going against Peter at first before switching sides. Also, Topher Grace Venom would not have been well-received due to Spider-Man 3, either of the Harry Osborn's returning would take attention away from the main Green Goblin, and having Ned become Hobgoblin would do the same thing, and it would also be unfitting to have Ned turn against Peter in this situation. That's all I really know, but those were really the only options that they had, so they stuck with what they had.

Loved your reaction to this, it was really entertaining to watch. The movie was almost perfect to me, and I definitely believe it is the best MCU movie I have ever seen even with its very few problems. I am glad that you enjoyed it, but there is one thing I wanted to share just to see your thoughts on my idea. Alright, so I know my comment will get lost in the comment section of this video, but I hope that at least one person sees it, so that it isn't for nothing. Also, SPOILER WARNING for those who have not seen No Way Home! When I watched this movie, it truly felt like the greatest superhero movie I had ever seen, even more than Endgame, but admittedly tied with Infinity War. However, it came so close to being my favorite movie overall, it was 99% there, and don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the movie, but as a famous meme salesman once said "Life is good, but it can be better." My only complaint was that they left out Mysterio to form a perfect multiversal Sinister Six (what we saw in the movie was technically the Sinister Syndicate [it wasn't named and I know it typically refers to Spider-Man's lesser known enemies, but the roster we saw in the movie was similar to the iteration seen in Marvel Super Hero Squad Online, so that could be a consideration], and no, I don't count Venom as the sixth member), and seeing the cut scenes made me realize how much it could have worked. Mysterio was another villain that was technically killed thanks to Spider-Man, he is tied into the plot of this movie thanks to his actions, he would have been the final member of the Sinister Six (an original founding member in the comics, in fact), and he would have been a representation for the MCU Spider-Man movies. Now before anyone says, "there was already so much going on, they wouldn't have had time to include him, and his appearance would take away from the other characters," allow me to give you the perfect way that they could have included him in the movie. Here is my pitch, and love it or hate it, I think this could have worked. The events of the movie would have played out the same, but at some point early on, while all of the other villains were emerging, a portal would have appeared in an alleyway, and a figure whose face is obscured would be horizontally thrown through the portal and land against the wall, landing in a dumpster. The figure would slowly climb out of it, and see the report by the Daily Bugle about Spider-Man killing Mysterio, and instead of hearing their reaction, their hand would slowly tighten into a fist before it cuts away back to some of the main characters dealing with another problem (there are at least 3 scenes that would work this early on, so it would not be hard to do). Later on, when the villains are walking with the rest of the characters, one of them (maybe Doc Ock) would hear something and stay behind without the others noticing, and so a disembodied voice (altered by maybe a voice box or something) talks to him and asks if they would like to team up if they do something in return. After doing this with a few other villains in a few different scenes, the figure would then wait for a certain scene (maybe the one where Peter and Doctor Strange are fighting about the box outside the sanctum sanctorum) to quietly break in and steal a few books from the sanctum's library, which Strange would point out later. Yes, this is actually going somewhere that makes relative sense to the story, I promise. After a variety of events from the movie, when the villains eventually discuss a team up strategy of sorts, the figure from earlier walks from the shadows and begins to talk to them in an altered voice about a special plan of sorts. A few moments before the Aunt May death scene, Peter would be called home by her to discuss a key clue she found about the events, but not giving any specific details. Peter would arrive, and just as they hug, Peter feels an intense pain in his side, revealed to be a knife that "Aunt May" was carrying and used to stab him. She begins to laugh before revealing herself to actually be Quentin Beck (Again played by Jake Gyllenhaal, Because I don't think this would be a proper time to make him the Bruce Campbell one that Sam Raimi was hoping for), and he proceeds to explain how he came from a dimension where the same events of Far from home took place, but he was miraculously saved before he was shot by his drones thanks to the portal, and realizes that based on how events played out in this reality, he has lost his opportunity to make himself the greatest superhero ever in his home dimension as well, so now that he is here, he plans to take his revenge on Peter by teaming up with the other villains. Mysterio then proceeds to lead him away from the apartment, casting several illusions of himself to throw Spider-Man off, and Mysterio appears to be even more unhinged then before, with his eyes glowing green and twitching. However, Peter's spider sense goes off and heads back to confront Green Goblin, and as shown in the film, fails to save Aunt May. The rest of the movie would continue as normal, but then during the fight scene with the Statue of liberty, Mysterio appears and explains that he will use the help of the other villains (with Norman being the leader to the annoyance of Beck) to team up and form a team (maybe name it the Sinister Six or it could just be implied) in order to tear down what little remains of Spider-Man's public image, as well as those of the other heroes who get in their way. The fight would be like normal except that Mysterio would briefly stop Doctor Strange from casting the runes by confronting him, and Strange would say something along the lines of "Peter told me about your drones and the illusions. Unlike you, I am more than a magician with cheap parlor tricks, I can actually do real spells" (Corny I know, but I am kind of struggling to think of something better right now that would still fit Strange's type of humor while also being intimdating). Mysterio would then fire green lasers from both of his hands (the green eyes triangle symbols would appear when he fired them) at Strange when he is talking, and to his surprise, the beams actually burned a bit and caused some damage (think of like a lesser version of some of Iron Man's lasers), causing him to fall down a bit before the Cloak of levitation caught him and reoriented him to face Mysterio. Mysterio would then explain that since this world's Spider-Man knew how all of his tricks worked, he would have to change things up in order to win this time, so he stole books from the Sanctum sanctorum that could grant him the same abilities that he had when he was posing as a hero (Green hand lasers, flight, protective energy shields, maybe those giant hands if it kind of holds his own hands in place to control them, and finally legitimate illusion casting like Loki), but they would be for real this time. He also mentions that in order to gain his powers so quickly without the time to use them properly, he cast a spell that allowed the magical energy to be stored inside him, and it is implied that this excess of power has corrupted him and amplified his pre-existing mental instability to the point of being near delusional thanks to his ego, which is what the glowing and twitching eyes from before were hinting at. After a pretty good fight scene between the two, and maybe a part where Mysterio fires at the cracks in the sky which worsens the effects of the spell, Spider-Man (Tom) would then notice the two fighting and web Mysterio to draw him away, but at the same time causing more problems as now they have to split up to fight all of the Sinister Six. Tobey would fight Doctor Octopus and Sandman, Andrew would fight Lizard and Electro, and Tom would fight Green Goblin and Mysterio (Sorry for having to use the actors' names, I just find it easier to keep track of who is who), and during this time, Strange would be able to reverse the spell and use the runes to cure the villains (now including Mysterio as well) before sending them all back to their own dimensions. Alright, I admit you deserve a medal if you actually read all of that. But I think this is still a good pitch for if Mysterio would have been added in, and based on my calculations, he would have only added 10 or 15 minutes maximum to the movie, so he wouldn't really take away from too many characters, he would help connect with the plot, the multiversal Sinister Six would have been formed (it doesn't matter if it can't happen again, I would just be glad if it happened once), and it wouldn't alter the events of the story all that much. Was it necessary to come up with all of this? No. But was it fun to dream? Absolutely. It was a shame they didn't include Mysterio despite it being manageable, but regardless of the possibility, No Way Home was still an amazing movie that I couldn't love enough. Please let me know if you have any thoughts, questions, or concerns, and I hope you were at least entertained by my idea. Also, for On My Mind Entertainment, please let me know if I was bothering you with my video suggestions, and I will promise to stop spamming you with them unintentionally.

@vt_sandman No need to feel sorry, I said that I loved the movie. I was just providing a theory of mind that could have made the villains a true Sinister Six for the movie since I know some people were saying they missed their chance. Thank you for the reply though, I really appreciate it.
