Was listening to this so often in Highschool, really brings me back. The ending is really special to me though, really captures a certain vibe no other song has really captured since. Like some dark ancient evil emerging from the sands of time. Like I'm on some mystical quest searching for the holy grail deep in a labrynth of a crypt with nothing but a torch light and stumble upon the black nothingness of the abyss.

I cant believe that i've got addicted with opeth's whole damnation songs. Despite of the dark lyrics, opeth's damnation helped me to stay calm and relaxed. My favorite opeth's damnation songs are windowpane, get rid of disease and weakness. Ironically, i just discovered opeth like six month ago despite being on my early 30's
