Broly goes from weaker than base vegeta to needing a blue fusion to beat him in the span of a few hours. When previously he hardly had any training and lived on a remote planet all his life. Frieza gets so strong that he's able to one shot goku and vegetas godly forms with just 10 years of unknown training. Jiren was so strong that he was able to literally one shot goku and vegetas previously strongest forms while being suppressed and was hyped up to be stronger than God's. What training did he do? We don't know. So Gohan and Piccolo aren't an exception. Dragon Balls powerscaling has been terrible for a LONG time before beast gohan and Orange Piccolo. Almost every character in recent years including Goku and Vegeta have gotten extremely stupid a**pulls just as bad as piccolo and gohan. And Piccolo actually works hard and trains and was always STILL a joke. So I don't think I'm the only one when I say I don't care that it's an a**pull, I'm just glad Piccolo is on par with goku and vegeta and Gohan is the strongest again.

Manga piccolo was alot stronger than people give credit for. He was fighting on par with ultimate Gohan and even can overpower a trained ss2 Gohan. Piccolos ultimate form is closer to blue levels in power if Gohan in ultimate was closer in power blue(gohan vs kefla considering kale trashing ssb goku). Considering piccolo went from barely keeping up with gamma 2 to then no diffs him with one punch just shows the massive jump in power. Gamma 2 had to sacrifice his entire body just to Crack cell maxes skull.

I think something a lot of people missed in the Broly movie was his adaptability. It only took Broly surviving Vegeta and Goku's attacks once before figuring out how to counter and emulate their strategies. I think for that reason Broly is a lot more deadly in the early rounds against Picollo. Learning Picollos combos would put Broly on game. Now when he goes LSSJ it's a different story. Like yall said, it's a all out brawl of physical force.

I think we overestimate Broly a bit. He does get stronger as he fights, but as we saw in the movie, he has a limit(by the end of the fight, he was overpowered and regained his senses). So I believe "Super Hero" Orange Piccolo beats "DBS Broly" Broly. We have to remember that Piccolo was aware of Broly's strength, so if he doesn't think he could beat Broly at Full Power, he'd end the fight before he gets to that point.

All I’ll say is imagine Broly getting all the help Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo have received? He never had Kai’s unlocking his power, or training with Angels and Gods, or getting power ups via Dragon. But look at the chaos he caused just from his natural power alone. Now imagine him with proper battle experience and training like the above. It wouldn’t even comparable. He’s the chosen one of the Saiyan race. And the only Saiyan in history to be exiled from a legendary race of warriors for being ‘too powerful’. That alone tells you everything you need to know.

That's the last known time we knlw they saw Goku and Vegeta. They may think Vegeta is still limited to SSJBE.

Ultra ego has been around for a quite a while now, (June 20 2022) and it takes weeks/months to create a story board for a manga, so ultra ego had to have been known by the time the Toriyama statements came out reguarding everyone’s power, besides, they know fully well the power shifts for Goku/vegeta, so they likely knew they’d be around each other by this point, and that Goku/ vegeta keep growing stronger over time, so Piccolo likely took all of that into account, the androids should atleast be around Granola arc UE/UI goku/ vegeta, since that would still leave them 9 months to a year after the arc for them to be one shot tiers above them selves in the present, which is where Piccolo lies in power

Piccolo takes it. The DBS Superhero arc takes place after Granola. In that arc Granola wished to be the strongest in the universe. That placed him above, well, everyone in the universe of course including Broly. So anyone that scales to Granola, which Goku and Vegeta did by the arc's end, would be above Broly. The Gammas are equal to Goku and Vegeta. This is the narrative goal and confirmed by Piccolo, the word's of a fighting and analytical genius. And he clean knocked out Gamma 2 with one hit. Then he went on to put up a fight against Cell Max. Put respect on Piccolos name, he is NOT just blue level. Yk where he's blue level? Ultimate Piccolo. Orange Piccolo was stated by Toriyama to have power "On par with Goku and Co". Orange Piccolo is an Instinct tier transformation

I think we need to take in consideration that orange piccolo is alot stronger than blue. Manga piccolo was alot stronger than people give credit for. He was fighting on par with ultimate Gohan and even can overpower a trained ss2 Gohan. Piccolos ultimate form is closer to blue levels in power if Gohan in ultimate was closer in power blue(gohan vs kefla considering kale trashing ssb goku). Considering piccolo went from barely keeping up with gamma 2 to then no diffs him with one punch just shows the massive jump in power. Gamma 2 had to sacrifice his entire body just to Crack cell maxes skull.

I don't remember piccolo in the manga fighting on par with ultimate Gohan, piccolo never fought on par with Gohan in the anime either, it's said that Gohan in the anime is stronger than piccolo in super series, so piccolo never fought on par with Gohan, plus they were training then Gohan easily slapped piccolos hand off

While not canon as of yet we notice that piccolo can sense the fight between Goku Vegeta and broly so if those events take place around the same time maybe slightly before super hero than that means piccolo could have been comparing himself to them from what he was sensing from the broly fight. Now if he is on par with them from then... that would mean he's above base broly. Still though Goku and Vegeta were playing chicken with ssj broly and running so if piccolo is equal to blue or above that'd mean he's just about equal to ssj broly and would get absolutely wrecked by full power broly.

I think y’all should have a baseline of which broly y’all are talking about because that fight with Vegeta was his first time ever fighting. So now that he’s training with Whis, Goku and Vegeta his experience should be there. He was learning insanely fast how to fight and tap in to his power vs Vegeta. Now he has experience and I just don’t think that post trained broly will be the same broly from the movie. That will have that accelerated adaptation ability combine that with the fact he is a little more sane while fighting I think it’ll be interesting until Broly goes super Saiyan Also since

If I am being honest, Orange Piccolo is the more skilled fighter, while Broly is the more powerful fighter. If they were to fight, I do think that Broly would win against Orange Piccolo. There are many factors to consider. One is that Piccolo achieved his Orange Piccolo state long after the fight with Broly. Another is that Piccolo was behind Goku and Vegeta in strength before even getting the Orange Piccolo form, and Broly surpassed Goku and Vegeta in the fight in dragonball super Broly. Not to mention that Goku and Vegeta had to fuse into Gogeta to defeat Broly, and at his peak power Broly was able to compete with super saiyan Gogeta. Plus, Orange Piccolo is stated to be strong enough to compete with the saiyans. Along with how an incomplete and damaged Cell MAX overpowered Orange Piccolo, and the information that a complete Cell MAX would be too much for even Broly, these factors just point to Broly being the overall winner if he ever fought Orange Piccolo. Also, I think Beerus was more afraid that Broly would destroy his planet than how powerful Broly is. Beerus is aware of what Broly is capable of, but doesn't necessarily see him as a threat. Just a possible challenge that can't control his power.

I know the movie was written before the Granola arc. But Orange Piccolo being SSJB makes no sense. When Toriyama said he caught up to Goku and Vegeta. It would mean whatever range of power they are currently. That's why I find it crazy when people say Beast Gohan isn't stronger than UI Goku. It's like when have these two haven't gotten new forms that are either relevant to the current threat & main players, or stronger. The whole point of new forms is to get them caught up. Orange Piccolo is beyond SSB. Yellow Piccolo that was fighting gamma 2 was not that far off from gamma 2 in terms of power. They were trading blows, gamma 2 had the upper hand but he wasn't that far ahead of Piccolo. So when Piccolo goes orange, he turns the tables very quickly and creates a large gap of power between gamma 2 and himself. If Gamma 2 is SSB tier, then this puts Orange Piccolo at UI/UE levels of power, which means, he could very well be on the same playing field as Goku and Vegeta from Granolah arc. Implying this was the last time he saw them and their powers all out. We also know Broly would not be able to handle a completed Cell Max and is more than likely comparable to the incomplete Cell max before the nerfs. I feel like Cell Max would have similar scaling to Freeza post training. Golden Freeza has to be rivaling Goku/Vegeta in their best forms, black Freeza was at least 2 leagues ahead in the power scale for him to pull what he did to both of them with such ease, while also destroying Gas with no effort. Freeza's final form is more than likely rival to SSB state now. Considering Freeza was in final form and did a quick power up to finish off Gas and dial back down instantly, then to power up again and knock out the saiyans... Black Freeza suffers from Beerus syndrome right now, his power could be anything but i think it is fair to consider that freeza and cell max are on the same page, more or less. Piccolo has to be beyond SSB with orange state, so him being 11, which rivals UI Goku, makes sense to me. TUI trades defense for offense, UE rivals UI and can go higher if allowed to. I did no include Jiren into the mix because this list is based on movies and manga in a combined effort. Anime follows a different pattern than the manga, I would put jiren as a 9.5 in this list, based on the manga, if ignoring the manga stuff, Jiren from anime would be a 10.5+ with his limit breaker form.

Hm, one possible Scenario or win Condition for Orange Piccolo is he's likely aware of how much Broly's power can go when out of control (He was most definitely aware, Goku used him as an IT beacon to fuse.) If Broly starts raging and raising his power and is distracted enough, maybe Orange Piccolo would try to Snipe him with a Special Beam Canon ala Beast Gohan. If he's still relative or manages to condense it enough. He may make go from a terrifying monstrosity of a Saiyan, to dying like Raditz if it hits him in a vital area.

And I think the narrative that's been consistently teased since Broly's movie is that he's strong enough to be compared to Beerus. Beerus was relieved when Broly was beaten in the fight was over at the end of the Broly movie. We get a statement that Broly is probably stronger than Beerus by Goku and Toriyama. And then in Super Hero, Beerus freaked out when he found out Broly was on his planet. Those aren't just coincidental statements. Even if he's not 100% Beerus level, he's definitely right around there. But again. Beerus is the never-ending moving goal post.

I think Broly’s growth factor is over exaggerated by fans too much. Yes he got stronger as the fight went on in the movie but he clearly hit ceilings too then was prompted into surpassing his limits (like all saiyans do) by Frieza. I don’t think he would of been nearly as competitive and continued to get stronger if that didn’t happen. Same when he fought Gogeta he just surpassed the limits of his SS form. Point is, his power isn’t limitless, just his potential is. But I feel that can be said for any number of our heroes at this point including Orange Piccolo.

Piccolo v Broly- it's definitely a fight. I see Piccolo getting the upper hand early on (in his Ult Form). As you guys said, Piccolo has the techniques to lay on him. Not to mention his speed is up there as well. On the other hand, the longer the fight goes on, that's an advantage for Broly as his Rage will rise, powering him up. Now, going into their Orange & Legendary forms, I see this being more of a slugfest! I see Piccolo able to get more hits/combos in, but for every hit/combo, Broly is able to knock him back with 1 big hit! Unfortunately, I will give this 1 to Broly as I mentioned before, the Longer the fight, the more it favors, Broly!

Maybe broly could learn attacks faster, Broly figuring out hakai or if brolys ki is a small version of hakai energy,. Vegeta mentions in the Broly movie that he is leaning as he fights, Broly fighting Beerus won't go down well, in my opinion, I think that Brolys learning ability makes him 1 step ahead everytime the other fighter powers up, the only reason why Gogeta was able to overpower him is because they are a combined power that was able to stay ahead abit faster since Saiyans get stronger as they fight but they knew it was not for long. Now a well trained Broly that can actually control his power and actually adapt and get stronger push limits with awareness can be a threat to anyone, that's my opinion as to why Beerus may be afraid of Broly.. I still believe Broly with 1 year of spirit control training from yardrat would low diff nearly everyone with his sheer energy control. All the power we see Broly display even in the movie is a small fraction. He lets his power leak out like a running faucet he doesn’t know how to fully tame it. That’s what made Jiren head and shoulders above everyone hardcore training and absolute energy control. That makes a users attacks sharper harder and the user would drain only small amounts of their power. Yardrat training makes the most sense and serves as a solid foundation before any type of sparring. Broly would master his power and have full control over his emotions and he would temporarily share a world with way weaker beings but build on his awareness that absolute power needs to be wield responsibly so you don’t hurt anyone you care about or wreck a planet. Also, a bit off topic but when we discuss characters with the most potential I think we needs to discuss the nature of their inner potential because they may not all manifest in the exact same way. Broly’s power sky rockets when fighting opponents either stronger or enough to push him but his power is like what I said earlier a leaky faucet or a volcano. Gohan’s inner power is locked and dormant in him and is unlocked based on both his mental state and emotional triggers. And finally frieza’s inner power seems to be very massive but it runs EXTREMELY deep. Way deeper than he even knows. So we would see him randomly train or try different methods and he will constantly have rapid power ups and even shock himself with how strong he can become. Black Frieza MAYBE could be Frieza’s current plateau but who knows if that’s even his peak. I know with confidence Uub is on this list. Giving divine ki at a young age without knowing what he’s doing is still one of the most slept on gigantic power feats of this series

I will have to say Broly getting the win over orange Piccolo due to raw power and his ability to adapt to any high power level that he's combating against, (ie: see golden frieza battle) however Piccolo might be able to score a victory over him due to technique and fighting ability which is what Gogeta had done during their battle when the he went full power. It's sort of like a boxing match on who could have the most stamina to remain standing. However I do have a question for you geekdom and that is if you take slug, for example, with the same potential that orange Piccolo has and who is a true super namekian. Do you believe that he can overpower Broly? The reason I ask this if you recall during the original Dragon Ball Z namekian Saga that Elder Guru has specifically told Krillin that if Piccolo and Kami where to fuse, and if you throw a nail into that Fusion, that in might have a chance of defeating the Legendary Super Saiyan do you think that was a mistranslation or a continuity error on their part for that statement?

So he has a good understanding what their power was there, and that was after the tournament of power. Piccolo knocking out Blue Goku/Vegat that was fighting Broly in one punch is a safe bet. I think that power he retains. Also in his Super Saiyan form, I think a fight between him and SSJ Gogeta now wouldn’t favor Broly at all. Goku and Vegeta, outside of Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego, are vastly more powerful in their base forms and all of their Super Saiyan forms now compared to DBS Broly. Goku’s Blue form is far more powerful than ever before and can incorporate the principles of UI into it now, Vegeta’s Blue Evolution is much more powerful than before especially thanks to training in Spirit Control training with the Yardrats where even he was caught off guard on how much stronger he became with even Pybara and Moro noting that he became significantly more powerful. If they were to fuse now, Gogeta would inherit all of that growth to a far greater degree.

@Christian Astorga yea I understand that part of it. I meant like immediately after he got teleported back to his planet, he was at those power levels. Prior to Goku and Vegeta training. Im assuming Goku training Broly will do wonders for him. Cant imagine what Broly is capable with a trainer like Goku
