Oregon Bass Kayak Fishing PRESPAWN March 2024 I Catch a 6 1/2 Pound Bass with Rudy!

Awesome fish! The water looked pretty muddy which seems to be a prerequisite near my house in Oregon. The silly powers that b have drained the reservoirs and now everything's loaded with silt😊

Cooper looks good too. If I’m going to drive any distance I prefer the coastal lakes. Have you ever fished Cottage Grove Reservoir. Spotted bass is on my bucket list.

Yes, I have. Only once, it happened to be during the spawn, and I caught a 4 pound spot off a stump.

Yes it was. The muddy water still catches fish. I fish it mostly because it’s right down the road but when I get a chance to fish the coastal lakes it really feels like I’m on a bass lake. Have you ever fished Cottage Grove Reservoir? Thinking of giving it a try.
