In this video Tim explains the 3 pillars of human movement and what they are designed to do for you. He also introduces how sneezing is a reset. At least it can be. Tim's a little spastic in this one... #originalstrength

I'm following you and have gotten at least one other person to do so also. I don't know what your personal beliefs are but they are indeed at least that we have a designer that designed us and that's truth...

@@OriginalStrengthSystem I had a feeling you believed the same way I did. I'm just now starting out and boy it was not as easy as it looks, even as a regular exerciser...🤣

Interesting post, thank you Tim! I was expecting some similarities to J.C. Santana’s 4 Pillars of Human Movement - certainly not the case. Keep up the good work.

Hey OS. Please can you do a video on 'How to walk correctly'. It seems that most people have substandard gait patterns resulting in under-developed glutes and over-activation of anterior chain muscles, lower back issues etc. It would be great to get your take and tips on this. Things like front/rear foot position, which muscles should be firing, hip position, shoulder position etc. Thank YOU!

Peter Evans For singers it’s about being connected with the music in a physical manner. The beauty of moving is so buried that it’s awesome to come home to our bodies. To feel the rhythms, resonances and spaces within and around us... to play is a key to singing. Obstructions are removed and the X is strengthened without deliberate direction. Just by doing the fundamentals of OS we wire ourselves to be open emotionally and physically to and for musical expression. As an actor or a speaker you create a vehicle through the movements that improves over time. All quality thought is based on and improved by quality moving. Problems can be changed by changing the basic ways in which we move. New movements mean new thoughts and emotions. As a hypnotist you can help people create new ways of living in the world by refining the rhythms we so often miss. Tempo makes all of the difference sometimes. I could write a book here about this so I’ll stop. If this helped please let me know. OS rocks!

Thank you for the reply! Very interesting :-) are there any books that 'tie' those concepts together? (Including yours to be written!)

Peter Evans There are about 50 books I’ve read that contain seeds of these concepts. But as I see it it will take me writing something to tie this together. The head nods and breathing started me being aware of undulating movements through my body. After hundreds of head nods I started to spontaneously make faces and laugh deeply. This lead me to measure heart rate variability, brainwave patterns and the use of thermography... Shaking Medicine by Bradford Keeney comes to mind. The more I do OS the better my singing, acting and work as a hypnotist is. With limitless returns it seems. Run with this and see what happens. Tim is a genius.

I wish you had a podcast or audiobook, so could listen to the science and tips on my walks! I have listened to the interviews you’ve done on other podcasts. Thanks for giving out all this free info on KZbin! Yes, I have bought the OS book (the reloaded version) and it’s getting trashed from rereading and carrying it around.
