Guys, seriously, THANK YOU for all your support throughout this whole journey and beyond❤ It's just insane to us that so many people have been interested in our random thoughts, reflections, and adventures around the world. We are so incredibly lucky to have you all here🙏❤ We wanted to keep it real in this video and not give some rosy picture of what the past few years have been. We're so fortunate and grateful for what we've experienced, but hopefully you can take our advice in this video and learn from our mistakes👨🏼🤝👨🏻 Here's to an amazing 2023 and beyond with even better videos and a more sustainable lifestyle🙌

I was watching and saw that naive outlook on traveling non stop. I have watched people jumping city to city. Everything in moderation is a real thing. I would stay in places for a month or more. As I get older, slower is amazing so you don't get burnt out. 12 years later I am still doing it, as coming home to check on Mom and seeing friends and family is so appreciated. It does make a difference. Also, work exchanges and meeting people and forming bonds around the world has been an amazing part of traveling. Now I have.a global family that I actually keep in touch with. I still have my friends from my first Europe trip when I did hostels. And, I don't count the countries, I pay an attention to cities more coz I could be one country and enjoy 10 cities in Spain. So I don't count, I just go! I have a channel and it's not driven by my travels but I do share stories. So my life is not about getting content for a channel. That also is pressure. Glad to see you guys taking a step back, it will fuel you to travel again.

Hey Boys,as an older member of the community with a son & grandchildren & 2 wonderful 15+ year relationships ,along with living in Africa,America & Oman ,whilst travelling to around 60+ countries,I empathise with the burn out, loneliness and need to recover. As a man it's also important to give credit, respect & time to your own feelings, not just others in your life. This is now more of a given,but,men/boys you have a right to feel & a good cry can be super cathartic. Be it from exhaustion, anger, general upset or watching a movie or a KZbinchannel. Thank you both SO very much for sharing your journey, its been a privilege & pleasure watching you grow, both in confidence and as a couple, kudos. May I wish you both the VERY best in the future,I so hope that will include children as I think you will be absolutely superb fathers, each bringing your own unique contributions to the table. Rest, heal and enjoy chilling out at home - after everything I've done,it's still my favourite past time,a great sleep in your own bed, your favourite food in the fridge/kitchen and a night in with a movie/ series - though like you I've been blessed to see/experience some amazing things; home is where the heart is. Obviously will be looking forward to your notifications and thank you again for the immense amount of vicarious pleasure I've had following your adventures, but,now recharge. Wishing you both all health & happiness, now & in the future💥👊👏👏👏💙💙👌❤💯👋⭐'s💯👋✌

I love this. Everything has its time. The idea of "full-time travel" sounds exciting and privileged from outside, and the overwhelming pressure from people (not to mention the travel industry) is, "you have limited time so you should cram in as much as possible!" But I figured out pretty early that when I found a place I liked, I wanted to stay and get to know it and its people, it's language... Honestly, having the ability and time to do that is a bigger privilege. That privilege is something that we should be aware of and recognize its value. Right now I'm in Saigon, and luckily I have a bit of time, but people keep telling me all these places I "have to" go see. And I get it. But if I try to do it all, I miss out on the real privilege of getting to know the people -some "normal," some extraordinary- in a single neighborhood in the city. Without spending some time here, how would I even know? The world is big, but inside every person there is a world nearly as big.

What an inspiring conversation! Happy to see you both so reflective as you ponder lessons from your years of travel. My guess is that you wouldn’t change a thing. New Zealand is living proof. As much as you enjoyed it, you enjoyed it all the more for the extraordinary perspective you’ve gained from 100 countries. And, maybe, it had a tad more impact for being the culmination of your goal. I think you’ll be ready to explore more new places after you’ve taken your well-deserved break. It’s inspiring to see your clear purpose as you move ahead. Most of all, I’m concerned about your health and verrry happy to hear you’ll be taking time to recover and revive. Thank you for bringing up the neglected topic of Long COVID. Especially hoping that rest is the best cure. No need to be ashamed about favoring the USA. Small “d”democracy has won the last two elections. The country is refinding its soul. It has led the fight to protect democracy and human rights in Ukraine and revived human rights as a priority - even in America! We have our share of crazies, but so does everywhere nowadays. Finally, looking forward to following all your next adventures wherever you are!

Imho. Compassion (Self-compassion included ofc) is a very powerful thing that has altered my whole way of thinking about myself, ppl around me, and life in general. I've been in CFT (Compassion focused therapy) and I never ever thought that would do a thing for me or the way I've been thinking about myself since I was very little. But boy it did! It is as id I completely rebooted my brain at the age of 49... So keeping up with your mental health should be number one. I didn't make it a priority until last year, it's never too late but honestly, Nothing can be more important! That will shine through to everyone we meet. Thank you both (y’all) for going to one-hundred countries yet taking the time to let us see what you experienced. It has been our pleasure! I enjoyed a video and then could not wait for your next one. There are a few travellers who go it alone but I find that a couple (youse guize) make everything more exciting; more fun. Now is the time to make a lot of wealth based on all you have learned…so far! You might consider writing (with or without a ghost writer) about it all or produce some beautiful videos. The sky is the limit. I wish you both well and hope to see many more episodes of you both enjoying another new country. And now a really intrusive question that I have no right asking you….Are you planning on getting married? I’ve always wanted to be a flower girl and I would love to be yours🤪🙄😉 Best from Colin.
