@Zoot Rollo To visit the services does enrich your soul, with essentiel knowledge that you otherwise will miss or misunderstand. If you go to a service in a CJC of LDS you'll receive at each service the sacrament which is so important for your own development, your protection and also to receive the Holy Spirit his guidance. You'll become so much stronger by visiting the Sunday services, as you'll be much more vulnerable for the influence of God's opponent when not visiting and receiving. Of course, no one will force you, but realise what you surely will miss !

The reason the church sends missionaries to teach these principles is so that everyone have the opportunity to learn. You will feel a fire igniting in your heart that will tell you that you lived before this life. Your spirit will remember and will start to recognize people you met before coming to this earth. You will realize that you've known your loved ones even before coming here. That knowledge will motivate you to be better. I bear my testimony it's been true for me and so will be for you.

I love this video! I remember sharing this every day on the streets when I was a full time missionary for the Church in England. I just love how they explain the plan that God has prepared for us in a few minutes, it's kind of like if Heavenly Father was trying to say "Hey, I know life is hard and it may feel like it's so complicated and there is no way out, but it's simple, I have given you the nswers in my Gospel but I need you to look for those answers" I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ has what we need though sometimes it's not what want to hear and we procrastinate making those good chioces and chaging our life. But I say it again, I know that God really wants everybody to know this and be happy.

Hi, I have been asked this question many times by struggling members and investigators. all i can say in the space allotted is this; all people are free to make their own choices sometimes those choices bring pain to those around them, but if all you knew was happiness would you appreciate it? what we are to learn is; choose good circumstances, associations and mindsets, follow the gospel closely and even when hardships arise you will feel support and love from God and you will be happy.

That's an important point, Cory. "Resurrection" as in "Jesus was the first to be resurrected" (and as many religions define it) is a state wherein the person returned to life will never die again. On the other hand, Lazarus, Jairus' daughter, the widow of Nain's son and other individuals miraculously returned to life by Christ would eventually again sicken or age and die. Jesus as a resurrected being, like you said, fully perfected his Godliness--and would never die again. Beautiful :)

The Church calls it a "veil of forgetfulness". We are sent here to be tested. How will we live? What kind of people will we become? What values will we hold to when we learn right and wrong? This is why it's called faith. If we remembered our time in the pre-existence then it would be knowledge, no need for faith.

No matter how much He knows us, it is important that, through agency, as you said, we prove Him we will do all the things He commands to us... like Abraham did. It was not an easy task to sacrifice his own son, and yet, Abraham proved God he would do His will. In His immense wisdom and to fulfill the requirements of justice, God allows us to exercise our agency freely. We choose to follow him or to don't, but ultimately it is us the ones who decide.

A lot of religions believe that there is a difference between angels and us, and that angels were with God before we came to earth. "Sin is doing something we know is wrong." What about people who have a misconception about what is right and wrong? If I am born into an "evil" family and I am taught a different set of morals does that mean sin becomes a different definition for me and God judges me differently? What if I am taught I must feel guilt all the time because not doing so is a "Sin" and I learn to hate myself rather than loving myself? Perhaps sin is anything that moves us away from being more like God.
