I am from Malaysia and I love indian weddings ... so colourful setting and costumes: the whole atmosphere is so vibrant due to the colour and loud traditional musical instruments eg tabla, mridangam , Indian trumpet ( dunno the name): the customary stuff like feeding each other, tying the toes of both and walking around the colourful kolam.. ... thereafter the Indian and bangla dances.... loving it and there is so much life in it...

@@いぶき-s9m money never obsolute. Wedding is just narsistic contract to goverment where the risk is too big for male if your soulmate want to divorce you. You would lost almost anything. Money not marriage the make all of those success. Without wedding/marriage or wife if you want to adopt children you can give them all education in the world. Today wedding is no benefit. A lot of the sacred system of marriage where old people believe before are outdate. Divorcing is new normal. Some research kids are the most affected. Divorcing affect happened because of marriage bounding psychology. If marriage there is correction to get richer husband. Sorry today man don't want to be plantation slave just to provide parasit. And they can risk lost anything because of court more favorite women at divorcing.

LittleRubberSquare a lot of people do both. My family has a shinto temple so naturally my uncle and his wife did the traditional wedding, and afterwards they did a american styled wedding party where they cut th e cake together and all that stuff. I guess the traditional wedding is the actual part where they marry and the american style one is more of a party where you celebrate the marriage with lots of food and speeches and stuff.

I can understand how a western wedding would be popular with the younger generation and maybe seem more modern. this was super helpful. I am super nervous as I am getting married into a Japanese family. I love him dearly and he wants to have a Shinto wedding. being very new to the culture, I am trying to gather as much information about Shinto itself. Not just the wedding part in hopes of getting to know my new family even more. I love this and still have much to learn. I will say it's worth every step. I am glad you had a wonderful wedding. and you looked stunning.

So beautiful! I am totally in love with the Shinto wedding ritual. You both looked so regal and beautiful. Wishing u both a very happy marriage. I especially loved the presenting of the evergreens to the Shinto divinity--as a scholar in pagan mythology I recognised the ritual's ancient pagan origins! Fabulous xxx

Thank you so much for sharing your wedding ceremony with us. It was SO beautiful. The part I found to be most touching was when the wedding vows were read; such a direct connection to your God showed sincere commitment to each other & your families.

Cassie Stoddard basically she is saying that she also had her wedding in japanese style like this one. She never thought of having it at a chapel. These days, people prefer to NOT wear the Katsura (the wig) and the cotton hat anymore, instead they have a huge hair accessory on but she still chose to have it the old traditional way exactly in the video. Her house was affected by the huge earthquake in 2011 and she lost all of her childhood memories but her wedding was the first happiest thing that has happened ever since the tragic disaster and that she is very glad and feels blessed that she got to experience one of the beautiful occasion in life

Your ceremony is beyond beautiful! I found it very informative. I love Japanese culture and will be writing a Shinto wedding in a fanfic I am writing. I read a little on it so far, but your video has been a great help. The visuals has meant a lot and will be watching a few times. Your video was the first Shinto wedding I’ve watched and it was perfect.

Thanks you for sharing your special day! I have never seen a Japanese wedding ceremony and I think its great that's its gaining popularity among young people. It's great for people to never forget their traditions and roots. Unfortunately for me my people were conquered so I don't know the traditionals of my people. But if I I knew them I would definitely be proud to practice and remember them!
