What incredible experiences! The Tiger Leaping Gorge experience was awesome! Except the snake part. 😆 That light show was incredible at the Forbidden City. You two live such an adventurous life! I feel inspired to think about some random experiences I’ve had.

No place like China to have the best experiences!! Some of mine... 1. Being interviewed for a tv channel about tourism in Yinchuan on a skating rink. 2. Taking part in a welcoming of sorts at a restaurant in Qiandongnan - Leishan. Started by ladies singing and stopping behind me. Wine is then poured into my mouth from 4 different bowls and it feels like it never ends. I’m left with a soaking T-shirt from all the wine spilling on my T-shirt. Then two ladies stand behind me and thrust their hips into my back while singing a song. Thereafter, one lady takes a piece of food off my plate with my chopsticks and rubs it on my lips but doesn’t allow me to eat it. Ha! Then a hard boiled egg is cracked on my head. Everyone at our table are clapping and laughing. Still glad I tried it though. 3. Having an artist create a paper cutout of my face. The accuracy is amazing!

we went to yunnan this year to do tiger leaping gorge but it's closed for a year and a half to fix the road, so sad! still had an amazing time in yunnan though

Spring is on the way. I recommend you go to Wuyuan in Jiangxi, which is the province maybe you haven't unlocked yet. In March you can experience the beautiful countryside with amazing rapeseed blossoms. If you've extra time and energy, you must not miss the nearby Sanqing mountain with breathtaking shaped granite. Finally I also invite you to visit another nearby place, my hometown Jingdezhen, which is the birthplace of famous blue and white porcelain. Haha maybe you can prepare for a long vacation and visit them all in one single trip.

Well, Beijing will host the 2022 Winter Olympics next year. I saw videos of President Xi visiting the venues which are again, amazing like the 2008 summer Olympics. I don't know if the facilities are ready or opened for people to ski or try out the venues. But that would be something Jack should enjoy since he's a ski instructor. Should do a video of the venues if allowed.
