I still kick myself for not keeping the beaks from the Humboldts I caught back in 07'. That was such a crazy day on the water, You could see those crazy giants from the top all the way down to the depths. It was almost impossible to get anything to the bottom without the squid taking a chunk. Plus they put up a hell of a fight.
@pekanpi4344 жыл бұрын
@@raydlopez420 the 1st time i saw a humboldt squid, it was over 5ft long with a beak that huge. Almost softball size. Terrifying and delicious.

I found this channel by Hiroyuki Terada when they did a collaboration together, since then I have been enjoying Taku’s videos and feeling part of them. My three favorites channel. Diaries by Master Sushi Chef, Hiroyuki Terada. Outdoor Chef Life, Taku. Deer Meat for Dinner, Robert. Why I love this channel? Cuz they makes you feel very relaxed and I feel zero arrogance on them and always thanks you for being part of their virtual community, I love that. Thanks for another great video, Taku.

When you hook a squid don’t reel up right away. Just put light pressure and reel slowly. This will increase your chances of getting trips or quads and fill your cooler up
