Lots of progress being made, and I know you're very happy that things are moving along, as well as the weather getting better. I was watching those small round bushings on the ground that go on the clamps to hold the wood square to the saw. I had an idea that maybe a magnet bar inside the frame rail would be convenient to have to store those bushings when not in use to prevent them from getting lost down in the dirt. Just put the magnetic tool bar where you could see it and easily access those bushings when you needed them. Maybe it would work, maybe not. But, just a thought. Take care, stay safe, and most of all stay well!

Hi again I love the pine boards and over the last 50 plus years have used it for furniture making once it has been dried. The UK market loves it and we used to sell a lot to stores in New York and the New England States. I wish I was close to you guys so I could get my hands on some of that lovely wood. Willie

Mike, here's an old-timey tip: When you're building with green wood, angle your fasteners from the center of your board to the outside, about 30 degrees (five minutes on your watch dial), like this: edge| \ / |edge nails Then, as the wood dries and shrinks, it will pull against the screws/nails and make the fastening tighter. I live in a house built with white oak weatherboards and batten-strips that was built that way, it was about 100 years old... Remember this when you build the pool-house...

You should use the boards that still have bark on them next to the saw mill for building a shelter in the woods or a wood storage in the woods. That would be cool and have almost a log cabin type of look. Good Stuff!

This is James Anderson from Rock Falls Illinois. Do not miss many videos. Just a suggestion for the wood shed. USE head lock screws. They say on the package they are stronger than 3/8 bolts. They go in like screws and do hold very firm and no where the work.

I know this is late, but if you are ever building something like this again, instead of measuring each board, just run them long on top, snap a chalkline across the top and run a Skilsaw across the whole shebang. You could also tack a straightedge to the fence boards and rest the saw on that as you make the crosscuts. Thanks for the great videos!
