Not bad. Balistol is ok, but a tooth brush and Hoppes does a far better job on carbon. Wipe down with any oil like rem oil or even Balistol. You must grease the Hinge pin, barrel tang and front receiver nose also. Read your manual folks...

That's not a bad regime at all but don't forget to put a little light grease on the hinge pin, very important with a shotgun like a Browning that has a full width hinge pin with a large bearing surface. A pair of cotton gloves is a good idea also when wiping down with a little light oil to ensure no finger marks are left on the steel prior to storage.

Ballistol is no more than cooking oil it will not stay on the metal

I usually Supplement the cleaning with some light ceramic gun oil when it’s needed. What do you use?
