OVERCLOCK your Controller on PC for more FPS || Full Guide for PS5 Xbox and PS4 in 2024

Overclocking your joystick or controller is something that EVERY professional player in existance does, however it has always been a pretty well kept secret. It gives you less latency and the same feeling as if you were playing with 240Hz instead of 144Hz, as if you had double the FPS. It's crucial for games like Call of Duty, especially in competitive or in Warzone, but it works for ANY game out there.
This video is a comprehensive guide on how to do it for ANY controller in existance: PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox series X. It will also work for custom controllers like Scuf, Nacon, Hexcontroller, Astro etc.
8000Hz is what you're looking for with a PS5 dualshock, 1000Hz is the maximum for an Xbox controller.

U can't overclock an Xbox controller. It's polling rate locked. Your overclock isn't doing anything what so ever

Yes you can do it on the receiver, it won’t work with bluetooth though

Disable secure boot 🤣 for anyone reading don't do this. Just Google/reddit overclock controller. U just need to make a registry edit. Very simple and won't put your pc at risk

nono dont do 8k on dualsense it will tank cpu usage 1k is more than enough

Not really, at least in modern CPUs. I’ve tested it even on a i7 7700K system and it has been fine!

@@lurkxz5426 it slightly increases cpu usage depending on what cpu you have, there was also a thread that 8k on ds5 is not really 8k poll it just multiply it by 8x, you can search for it, honestly default poll rate feels more consistent for me.
