Having clarity of purpose and focussing on forward progress helps reduce anxiety. This is especially so if we could see a clearer path to our overarching purpose by our current actions. This also helps us adjust and hack and repurpose our brains if there are any triggers on the way. God bless you, Shadé.

Very good topic. As we are in a situation that there is uncertainity of life and what to do next because of this COVID 19 pandemic. We are not even able to travel to Australia because of the current situation and there is still uncertainty of opening. In this time, sometimes I get stress because of uncertainty and everything. Then, I immediately manage myself to get rid out from stress by watching videos like this, get out from home for cycling as exactly mentioned in videos and sometimes by doing meditation to control my stress. Thank you for excellent video. Happy to see your husband in this video as well and you both are so incredibly an amazing and talented human beings. God bless you both.

Few words for her : She looks damn beautiful in red dress, especially her red 💄 is perfect match. Just few days back only, I have started meditation and exercise to help keep my emotions at bay. And now I am experiencing its benefits in no time. I feel much better now and free from any emotional baggage. Also to keep my emotions in control, I have started Journaling so that I don't feel exhausted and confused while over thinking. All my issues like anxiety, stress, hopelessness etc has suddenly disappeared. All thanks to her (my friend) advice to whom I haven't been in contact for a year.

How can I stop thinking about specific things or people?
@ShadeZahrai4 жыл бұрын
It helps to first understand why you don’t wish to think about certain things or people. Taking time to resolve certain feelings towards them is always more helpful in the long run, but if you find yourself consumed in thought by certain things that aren’t helpful, it helps to distract yourself with something healthy. For example, set yourself a goal and work towards it, reach out & connect with friends, learn to play an instrument or even read an engaging book 📚 These can all help.

If uncertainty causes more stress than definitely knowing something negative will happen, then you might as well assume the bad thing is going to happen... If it does, you're prepared. If it doesn't, you're relieved and had less stress than if you went with uncertainty.

Can you please make one on "how to overcome anxiety"?
@JohnM...4 жыл бұрын
You might like this idea: Pick someone you love and trust and close your eyes, in a relaxed position. Breath in a relaxed way, deeply 6 times. Imagine that person telling you something (as vividly as you can) like this: "You are SO confident and comfortable around people, in every situation and every environment." You reply (it's important psychologically, that you actually CONFIRM IT, as the confirmation will be programmed into your brain) something like: "Yes, I AM comfortable and confident around people, everywhere I go." Repeat this scene over and over in your head, every night. It will get to a point where you are convinced it is a real scene - an actual memory. Once this happens, you may not feel a lack of anxiety straight away, but you will actually rapidly find that, when in public or with people you don't know, your breathing will be slower and less panicked, and you will actually feel braver and less and less anxious. 👍
