Now THIS is content creation. Thought provoking messaging that benefits the greater good. So many influencers create such empty content, but your art has always been different. Ok, I feel read for filth but that is ok,lol. This message really speaks to me because for the first time in my life I am choosing myself and not caring how it makes people feel. It's a very uncomfortable spot because i was raised to be small as well. Despite that, I rather get use to being out there than keep putting my dreams, ambition and feelings aside to make other comfortable. Its exhausting and it hurts.

Thank you for the slap in the face! I spent hours the other day recording cooking footage and wanting to make a reel and TikTok and just talk. But the footage is just sitting in my phone. God forbid I be seen or heard. That opens me up to judgement, that opens me up to vulnerability. However, we all deserve to be seen. To get vulnerable, to move through fear and stop being paralyzed by it. UGH love your content so much!

So cool. Never seen you before, but fun to find this video literally on the day I was monetized, meaning today. After five years of posting. Lol. I scratched and clawed my way here. My watch hours finally crawled to the top of the mountain. A lot of what you say resonates with me, I think we approach this in similar ways. The only difference is that I am someone who has been a solo performing artist, and a playwright for a very long time. The pandemic brought me here and turned me into a filmmaker. Another amazing thing is that I literally posted my new feature film to my channel last night, (it will go live tomorrow). I take that as a good sign, because I look at KZbin as complete creative freedom for myself. In my world, I have always struggled with producers and directors and “money people“ always trying to control my art, to take advantage of my stories, to use me for their own gain. Never really caring about me, or my art. Or me as a human being. I love that you are looking at your channel as creating short films. My videos get pretty long, so I don’t know if anybody would accuse me of writing a “short“ story, ever, but I plan on continuing to do whatever I wanna do on this channel, and here’s to possibilities. :-) thanks for sharing, this was a great way to start this day. I hope you have a beautiful one yourself. Oh, I definitely subscribed. :-)

the chat on being seen is actually something that is pertinent to my life right now. i’ve grown so much (built a better relationship with my mind-body and my capacity, re-fallen in love with my artistic passion of writing, and more) but the thought of re-entering the world after hibernating is terrifying. but, i just gotta trust myself sometimes like that’s what i’m hearing from you. i’m not the kid (i was 16 when i first started youtube; i’m almost 27) i was before and i can weather so much more… just need to trust myself fr. Jade, idk how or why but there is so much synergy in our lives. thank you for being here.
